The JKSSB Sub-Inspector, Finance Department admit card was scheduled to go live on 4 March 2024 at 4:00 PM for the written examination held on 10 March 2024. The date-specific “today at 4 PM” headline referred to 4 March 2024; it is not a current release announcement. JKSSB’s notice covered 62 posts advertised under Notification No. 04 of 2020, Item Nos. 118, 121 and 123.
Which JKSSB SI admit card was this?
This was for the Sub-Inspector, Finance Department OMR written exam, not a general JK Police SI recruitment or the separate Sub-Inspector (Home) recruitment. JKSSB’s notice, dated 3 March 2024, set the exam for 10 March 2024 and said the e-admit cards would be hosted from 4 March at 4:00 PM. Hindustan Times reported later on 4 March that the cards had been released.
A JKSSB candidate portal labeled “2022” and “SUB INSPECTOR (HOME)” concerns a different recruitment and should not be treated as the 2024 Finance Department admit-card page.
How candidates were told to download the hall ticket
- Open the official JKSSB website at jkssb.nic.in.
- Choose the E-Admit Card option and click “LOGIN.”
- Enter the email ID and date of birth associated with the application. The notice specified DOB in DDMMYYYY format.
- Check the basic details shown on screen. If any information did not match, JKSSB directed candidates to contact its help desk.
- Select “View and Print E-Admit Card,” then download and print the card.
These steps describe the 2024 notice; they do not establish that the historical admit-card link remains available now.

What to check before the exam
Bring a printed copy
JKSSB instructed candidates to bring a clear printed copy of the e-admit card on exam day and stated that admit cards would not be sent by post. The notice’s exact wording was: “Candidate must bring the clear printed copy of E-Admit card on the day of examination.”
Know the marking rule
The notice stated that one-fourth of the marks allotted to a question would be deducted for each wrong answer.

Historical help-desk details
For admit-card problems, the 3 March 2024 notice listed 0191-2461335 (Jammu), 0194-2435089 (Srinagar), and [email protected]. It said the help desk would operate from 4 through 10 March 2024 during office hours. These are historical notice details, not confirmation that the phone numbers or email are still monitored.
