Application dates and reported fee
Applications began on April 17, 2023. The initial deadline was May 16, but JKSSB extended it to May 23, 2023, as reported by Scroll on May 18, 2023. Both dates have passed.
Contemporaneous Scroll coverage reported an application fee of Rs 500 for general-category candidates and Rs 400 for SC/ST/PwD/EWS candidates. Treat those amounts as reported figures rather than a definitive fee schedule unless verified against the original notification.
Eligibility depended on the post and notification
There was no single qualification that applied to all 128 vacancies: Draftsman (Civil), Panchayat Secretary and Driver II were distinct posts. The exact educational qualifications, age limits, domicile rules and category conditions should be taken from Advertisement No. 01 of 2023 and its annexures, not inferred from the title or from requirements for another post.
