The JKSSB provisional answer key covered the Constable (Telecommunication) written exam held on December 8, 2024. Candidates could submit suggestions—called “objections/representations” in the notice—only from December 9 through December 11, 2024. That deadline has passed; the available report does not establish whether the key can still be downloaded from JKSSB.
Which JKSSB Constable answer key was released?
This notice concerned the Constable (Telecommunication) recruitment under Advertisement No. 01 of 2024. Scroll.in reported that the written exam took place on December 8, 2024, and that JKSSB released a provisional answer key. The report said candidates could download it from the JKSSB website. Scroll.in’s 2024 report does not establish whether that download remains available now.
Do not confuse it with a separate JKSSB notice for Constable (SDRF/IRP/Armed/Executive): that exam was held on December 1, 2024, and had its own answer key and objection instructions. JKSSB’s What’s New page listed the December 1 provisional-key notice; that listing does not confirm the current status of the Telecommunication key.
What was the suggestion deadline and submission process?
According to Scroll.in’s account of the Telecommunication notice, suggestions had to be submitted offline at one of the Board’s offices during office hours on the three working days from December 9 to December 11, 2024:

- JKSSB, Zamzam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar
The report said the fee was a ₹200 demand draft per suggestion. It quoted the notice as stating: “The objections/representations can be submitted in offline mode only, in the office of JKSSB, CPO Chowk, Panjtirthi, Jammu/JKSSB, Zamzam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar on three working days starting from 09.12.2024 to 11.12.2024, during office hours only.” The underlying Telecommunication notice was not available for direct verification in the cited report, so these details are attributed to Scroll.in’s quotation and coverage.
Can candidates still challenge the key?
No. The reported submission window ended on December 11, 2024. This is a historical notice, not an open objection period. The sources cited here do not establish whether JKSSB later published a final answer key or whether the provisional PDF is still accessible. Check JKSSB’s current notices for the Telecommunication category before relying on a download or any later key.

How many vacancies did the recruitment cover?
Scroll.in reported 4,002 total Constable vacancies under Advertisement No. 01 of 2024, including 502 Constable (Telecommunication) posts. These figures refer to that recruitment advertisement, not to the separate December 1 exam notice.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why the December 1 objection rules do not apply here
JKSSB’s December 1, 2024 notice concerned the SDRF/IRP/Armed/Executive exam, not Telecommunication. That separate notice specified a ₹200 demand draft per question, refundable if an objection was found genuine and correct, and required the prescribed form with documentary evidence. It also said a valid objection would result in a revised key for all candidates, without individual notices on acceptance or rejection. Those are instructions from the December 1 notice only; they should not be treated as verified terms for the December 8 Telecommunication exam.
