Check the notice title and exam date before downloading: “JKSSB JE answer key 2023” can refer to more than one discipline.

The answer-key headline covered here is for Civil JE, not Mechanical JE. Within the Civil notices, use the final key if you need the post-objection version; use the provisional notice only when checking the initial release.
Are objections still open?
No. Scroll reported that objections to the 2023 Civil JE provisional key had to be submitted offline at JKSSB offices at CPO Chowk, Panjtirthi, Jammu, or Zamzam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar. The reported period began on 20 November 2023, ran for three working days during office hours, and required a fee of Rs 200 per challenge. That deadline has passed; these are historical details, not current instructions.

JKSSB’s Citizen Charter says the board publishes examination notices, answer keys, and information about representations on answer keys through its official website. The official notice is therefore the appropriate place to confirm the discipline, exam date, key version, and any document attached to it.
