This is the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board notice for the written examination held on May 23, 2024. It covered various posts, including Mechanic, Electrician, Fitter, Welder, Plumber, Workshop Instructor, Carpenter-II and Maintenance Assistant. The key was provisional and covered paper series A, B, C and D.
It is distinct from a separate answer-key notice for an examination held on May 19, 2024. That release included posts such as Table Boy, Junior Grader, Chowkidar, Cameraman and Waiter.

How candidates were told to find the May 23 answer key
The contemporaneous download guide instructed candidates to use the JKSSB website and its “What’s New” section. The notice title to look for was “Provisional Answer key regarding Written Examination for Various posts, held on 23.05.2024.” These are the guide’s historical directions; they do not establish that the notice or PDF remains available on the current site.

- Visit the JKSSB website.
- Open “What’s New.”
- Look for “Provisional Answer key regarding Written Examination for Various posts, held on 23.05.2024.”
- Open the notice and save its PDF, if it is still listed.
The reviewed PDF copy is hosted by Prepp, a third-party site, and should not be mistaken for an official JKSSB download. A currently working official PDF URL could not be verified.
Objections: the 2024 window is closed
For the May 23 examination, the JKSSB notice allowed objections during three working days beginning May 24, 2024. Candidates had to submit an objection form, supporting documentary evidence and a demand draft for ₹200 per question, in hard copy at a JKSSB office in Jammu or Srinagar. The notice said the fee would be refundable if the objection was found genuine/correct.
The Board stated that a correct objection would result in revision of the answer key for all candidates; it would not notify candidates individually about whether an objection had been accepted. These were the notice’s rules at the time, not an open objection process now.

The May 23 details above come from a JKSSB-issued notice reviewed as a PDF copy hosted by Prepp, and Prepp’s historical guide. The comparison with the May 19 release is based on a JKSSB-issued notice reviewed via JKAlerts and Scroll’s report reproducing its objection instructions. The corresponding official May 23 PDF link could not be confirmed as working, so no unverified link is presented as the official download.
