Make sure you have the interview result, not the preliminary list
The preliminary result was a separate earlier notice. JKPSC’s Notification No. PSC/Exam/S/2023/90, dated 18 November 2023, superseded its preliminary-result notice of 27 October 2023 and listed candidates qualified for the Mains examination. It is not the interview-stage result. Read the preliminary-result notification.
When opening a result PDF, check its title and stage before treating it as the later result. The interview-stage result was reported by Scroll on 30 October 2024; the report says interviews were held from 21 to 29 October 2024 for a recruitment drive covering 75 vacancies. Those dates and vacancies describe that past selection process, not current openings.
What happens after the result
Scroll reported that candidates who qualified were to appear for a medical examination. It also quoted the JKPSC notification as saying: “Marks cards shall be available on the website of the Commission after completion of the selection process and after forwarding the select list to the Government for making appointments,”. JKPSC’s notices listing includes a 5 February 2025 entry titled “Download Marks Certificate of JK Combined Competitive Examination, 2023.” Check the official site for the relevant marks-certificate notice and instructions.
Sources and result-link limitations
- Scroll’s 30 October 2024 report describes the interview result and reported download route, interview dates, vacancy count, medical step, and marks-card wording.
- JKPSC’s website and notices are the official place to check for the result and later marks-certificate notice.
- JKPSC’s 18 November 2023 preliminary-result notification relates to the earlier Mains-qualification stage, not the interview result.
The exact final interview-stage notification number and complete candidate list are not established here. Do not treat the preliminary notice as a substitute for the interview result.
