The same contemporaneous report listed application fees of ₹1,000 for general-category candidates and ₹500 for reserved-category candidates. These are reported details for the 2023 cycle, not current fee guidance. The original application notice was not available among the cited sources, so the reported fees and post count should be treated as secondary-source information. Hindustan Times’ coverage is here.
Admit cards and provisional eligibility
JKPSC’s date sheet said admit cards would be uploaded from 23 March 2024. Candidates who could not download one were instructed to contact the Commission’s named computer operators by 25 March.

The notice cautioned that only candidates meeting the prescribed criteria should appear. It also said permission to sit the examination was provisional, subject to later verification of documents and eligibility at any stage of the selection process. This was not a final determination of a candidate’s eligibility.
What JKPSC later recorded
In its 2024–25 annual report, JKPSC recorded 2,144 applicants and 1,996 candidates who appeared for the 2023 Mains cycle. The report gives 9 July 2024 as the result date. These are Commission figures published in 2025; they describe this completed cycle, not a new application round. The JKPSC 2024–25 annual report also identifies Notification PSC/Exam/2024/01 dated 1 March 2024.
