JIPMER 2024 recruitment status: applications are closed
The “direct link to apply” in the original 2024 announcement should not be treated as a live application link. JIPMER’s recruitment page lists the computer-based test held on 14 September 2024, rank letters, provisional selection and waitlist notices, skill-test notices, and a result notice for Junior Administrative Assistant. Check the official JIPMER recruitment page for the July 2024 notices and stage updates.

A separate JIPMER Junior Administrative Assistant result page lists a provisional selection list and skill-test status for tests held on 13 December 2024 and 11 January 2025.
Vacancies announced in the July 2024 notice
JIPMER’s detailed advertisement, dated 19 July 2024, advertised 209 posts at Puducherry: 169 Group B posts and 40 Group C posts. The notice called the vacancy total tentative and said it could change, with changes to be notified on the JIPMER website before the selection examination.

Eligibility depended on the post
The 209 vacancies did not share one qualification or age standard. The advertisement sets out eligibility requirements by post, and the recruitment page links to corrigenda and addenda. Anyone checking whether they qualified for a particular role should compare that post’s entry in the original advertisement with any later applicable notices; a general Group B or Group C label is not enough to establish eligibility.

These are details of the historical 2024 process, not instructions to apply now. The advertisement said applications would be accepted online only and listed Net Banking, credit card, debit card and UPI as payment methods. Its fee table set the application fee at Rs. 1,500 for UR/EWS and OBC candidates and Rs. 1,200 for SC/ST candidates; it listed an application-fee exemption for persons with benchmark disabilities. Transaction charges applied as stated in the notice.
JIPMER also said applicants who had previously applied for Medical Laboratory Technologist or Junior Administrative Assistant needed to apply afresh for this advertisement.
