JetBlue TrueBlue has four Mosaic status tiers: Mosaic 1 at 50 tiles, Mosaic 2 at 100, Mosaic 3 at 150, and Mosaic 4 at 250. Members can begin choosing certain Perks You Pick at 10 tiles, before reaching Mosaic. The benefits that distinguish each tier include baggage, EvenMore seat selection, Move to Mint certificates, points bonuses, and—in Mosaic 4—BlueHouse access at JFK and BOS, all subject to applicable terms and availability.

What each Mosaic tier adds
Mosaic 1: 50 tiles
Mosaic 1 is the entry status tier. JetBlue lists one free checked bag, the first alcoholic drink free for an eligible member, same-day switches subject to restrictions, and priority benefits such as Mosaic boarding, priority security, dedicated check-in, and preferred seating. Members can select EvenMore seats beginning 36 hours before departure for themselves and up to two companions, if seats are available and the fare is eligible. The tier also includes an Avis Preferred Plus status match.
Mosaic 2: 100 tiles
Mosaic 2 includes Mosaic 1 benefits and adds a second free checked bag. The member can select EvenMore seats at booking for themselves and up to two companions, subject to availability and fare exclusions. JetBlue also lists an Avis President’s Club status match.

Mosaic 3: 150 tiles
Mosaic 3 carries forward prior-tier benefits and adds four Move to Mint certificates, subject to availability and the certificates’ rules. EvenMore selection at booking extends to the member and up to four companions. JetBlue also lists enhanced support and a higher direct-booking points bonus than Mosaic 1 and 2.
Mosaic 4: 250 tiles
Mosaic 4 includes benefits from the lower tiers and adds four more Move to Mint certificates, with additional certificates for further tiles under JetBlue’s terms. Members can gift Mosaic 1 status. The tier also includes complimentary BlueHouse entry at JFK and BOS for the member and one eligible companion, subject to fare restrictions.

How TrueBlue tiles are earned
JetBlue’s Tiles FAQ states these earning ratios:
- One tile for each $100 in qualifying spend on JetBlue flights, JetBlue Vacations, and TrueBlue Travel.
- One tile for each $1,000 spent on JetBlue credit cards.
JetBlue says qualifying activity can include eligible spend with select partner flights, eligible extras, and fees. Qualifying travel spend excludes government taxes and fees and travel insurance. Card transactions are also governed by the relevant card agreement and reward rules, so not every purchase or travel charge necessarily qualifies. Members can check their progress in the status tracker on the TrueBlue dashboard.
For a simple illustration, $5,000 in qualifying travel spend would correspond to 50 tiles at the stated travel ratio; the actual amount credited depends on which charges JetBlue treats as eligible. The card ratio is separate: $5,000 of qualifying card spend corresponds to five tiles at the stated card ratio.

What the points bonuses mean
JetBlue lists additional direct-booking bonuses of 3 points per dollar for Mosaic 1 and Mosaic 2, 4 for Mosaic 3, and 5 for Mosaic 4. These are bonus amounts on top of applicable base earnings, not a statement of the total points earned on every fare; fare conditions apply. JetBlue said the larger Mosaic 3 and Mosaic 4 bonuses would take effect February 1, 2026, and its live tier page now shows the updated amounts. JetBlue’s announcement was published October 16, 2025.
How long Mosaic status lasts
JetBlue’s help page illustrates that a member qualifying in October 2026 keeps status through January 31, 2028. The program’s 2026 changes extend the status-and-benefits period through January 31, rather than ending on December 31. Actual validity depends on when status is earned; check JetBlue’s current terms for your qualification period.

How to decide whether a higher tier matters to you
The tile thresholds are fixed, but the practical value of a tier depends on whether you can use its benefits. Consider the costs and trade-offs against your travel habits:
- Flights and eligible spending: Estimate how much qualifying activity you expect, rather than treating all travel or card spending as tile-eligible.
- Bags: The second free checked bag begins at Mosaic 2, which may matter more if you often check multiple bags.
- Seat selection: Mosaic 1’s EvenMore selection window begins 36 hours before departure; Mosaic 2 and higher allow selection at booking, within the applicable companion, fare, and availability rules.
- Mint certificates: Mosaic 3 is the first tier with certificates. Their value depends on availability and whether your routes and travel dates let you use them.
- Airport access and priority: Core priority features begin at Mosaic 1; BlueHouse entry is a Mosaic 4 benefit with location, companion, and fare restrictions.
- Points: The bonus rises at Mosaic 3 and again at Mosaic 4, but it applies to eligible direct bookings and should be compared with your actual eligible fare spend.
Partner benefits have boundaries
Mosaic benefits do not generally carry over to flights operated by partner airlines, according to JetBlue’s Mosaic FAQ. JetBlue and United announced reciprocal benefits under their Blue Sky arrangement in May 2026, including United boarding groups determined by Mosaic level. That defined arrangement is not a promise that every Mosaic benefit applies across every partner-operated flight. JetBlue–United Blue Sky update
