How to interpret the comparison
The listed Leicester figure is larger, but the figures cover different seasons and use different currencies. Without a dated exchange rate, a numerical difference or percentage comparison would be misleading. More importantly, both values are third-party estimates rather than published contract terms.
The tables do not establish Vardy’s take-home pay, tax treatment, bonuses, image-rights arrangements, or other compensation. They also do not show whether his Leicester wage changed before his contract expired. Do not treat either annual figure as confirmed net income.
What the clubs confirmed
Cremonese
Cremonese announced on 1 September 2025 that Vardy had signed through 30 June 2026, with a renewal option subject to certain conditions. The announcement did not disclose his wage. Read Cremonese’s signing announcement.

Leicester City
Leicester announced on 24 April 2025 that Vardy would leave after 13 seasons. The club’s May notice confirmed that his contract would expire at the end of June; neither announcement stated his salary. Read Leicester City’s departure announcement.
