A March 31, 2026, report put the asking price at $10.995 million after a reported $1 million reduction. That is the latest price established by the cited coverage—not a verified current ask: the property’s price and listing status as of October 8, 2026, are unknown.
What the reported asking prices tell us
The $12 million in the headline refers to the estate’s reported launch asking price in August 2025. On March 31, 2026, Mansion Global reported that the ask had been reduced by $1 million to $10.995 million. These are asking prices, not a confirmed sale price or evidence of what a buyer ultimately paid.
The available reporting does not establish whether the property remains listed, is under contract, has sold, or has been withdrawn as of October 8, 2026. The March 2026 figure should therefore be treated as a dated report rather than the current price.
Where the estate is—and what “lakefront” means here
The reported 33.6-acre estate is on the Brawley Peninsula in Mooresville, North Carolina, along Lake Norman. Its grounds extend to the lake and include a private dock. But Mansion Global’s March 2026 report says the house itself does not directly front the water. In other words, the property reportedly reaches Lake Norman; that does not mean the main residence sits on the shoreline.

In an August 2025 Mansion Global report, listing agent Josh Tucker described the area as being on the lake’s east side and offered his view that Mooresville and Cornelius are among its most desired towns. Tucker also said homes on the Brawley Peninsula usually have an acre or less. Those are the agent’s characterizations, not an independent market ranking or verified measure of local property sizes.
House size, rooms and reported features
Mansion Global’s March 2026 report gives the home’s area as 8,774 square feet, with five bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms. The estate was reported as 33.6 acres. The same report describes these property features:

- A saltwater pool and artificial turf

These are features described in the dated coverage; they should not be taken as confirmation that every feature remains included or available under any current listing.
Who designed and built the home
The Charlotte Observer’s August 23, 2025, report describes a custom traditional red-brick home completed in 2015. It credits Charlotte architect Harry Schrader with the design and Arcadia Homes with construction. The August 2025 coverage identified the property as a gated estate and reported the $12 million launch ask.
Rank #3
- Hendrick Motorsports Amazon Exclusive Candy Finish 1/64 Diecast. Featuring a special, high metallic "candy" finish. Diecast chassis and rolling rubber tires.
What is—and is not—known about its market position
The Charlotte Observer’s 2025 coverage said the property was tied at that time for Mooresville’s most expensive listing. That was a time-specific statement, not a current ranking. The available reporting does not provide a matched set of comparable sales, a current market analysis, or enough evidence to assess whether the reported asking price represents market value.
The listing agents named in Mansion Global’s March 2026 price-cut report were Josh Tucker and Joseph Adams, with Corcoran. That report documented the reduction to $10.995 million, but the price alone does not establish a completed transaction or the property’s status later in 2026.
