Jackie Burchill’s professional profile says she has started as Director of Lending Operations at Equifinance. The profile does not give an exact start date, and the role is separate from her July 2025 appointment as Birmingham Bank’s Head of Lending.

What Burchill’s profile says

Burchill’s LinkedIn profile names Equifinance as her employer and gives her title as Director of Lending Operations. In the announcement, she wrote: “I’m happy to share that I have started a new position as Director of Lending Operations at Equifinance!” View Burchill’s profile.

An Equifinance colleague’s LinkedIn profile also displayed the announcement. Both results showed an approximate age of “three months” when captured around October 2026. That relative platform label does not establish a precise publication date or employment start date. See the colleague’s profile.

How the Equifinance role differs from her Birmingham Bank appointment

Burchill was separately announced as Birmingham Bank’s Head of Lending on 16 July 2025. That was a different position at a different lender; it is not the title or employer in her more recent Equifinance profile. Read the Birmingham Bank appointment announcement.

Equifinance’s lending and broker context

Equifinance describes itself as a specialist lender founded in 2010. It says customers access loans through a national network of advisers, for purposes including debt refinancing or consolidation, home improvements, holidays and other large purchases. The lender says it works with a panel of regulated brokers. Its intermediary service includes a broker portal for decisions in principle and full applications. This places the operations-director appointment within a business that distributes customer lending through adviser and broker channels. Equifinance intermediary information.

Companies House lists Equifinance Limited as active, incorporated on 23 July 2010, and classified under SIC 64921, covering credit granting by non-deposit-taking finance houses and other specialist consumer credit grantors. Companies House overview.

What is not established

No exact start date or Equifinance-issued announcement explaining the appointment was identified. The available information also does not specify Burchill’s reporting line, detailed remit, or operational priorities, so the appointment alone should not be treated as evidence of a particular change to the lender’s processes or products.

For borrowers considering secured lending, Equifinance warns: “Consider what debts you secure against your home, as your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage or any other debt secured on it.”
