How the recurring fee and cancellation timing work
IYOVIA’s enrollment flow says the initial order triggers the initial and first recurring membership fees, then further charges recur at the same amount every 28 days until cancellation. The cancellation notice must arrive at least seven days before the next charge date. The amount can depend on the order selected, so confirm the total and retain the applicable terms when enrolling. A 28-day billing cycle is not the same as a calendar month. At the displayed $99.95 rate, 13 cycles over 364 days would total $1,299.35 before taxes or changes to the offer. That is arithmetic based on the displayed price and billing cadence, not an annual price published by IYOVIA.
What the advertised Reward Trip requires
IYOVIA promotes a four-day, three-night Reward Trip after 12 months of continuous subscription, subject to terms. The Reward Trip Program Terms and Conditions, effective and updated April 11, 2025, define the qualifying period as 12 consecutive months from enrollment and say the award is made on the 12-month anniversary. Members continue paying every 28 days during that period. An unpaid, refunded, or charged-back fee may reset credited membership months, and IYOVIA reserves the right to limit program enrollment. For a name change, it lists a $50 USD fee per change when requested 31 days or more before the start date; changes are not allowed within 30 days of the trip start. How to judge whether the fee is worth it
The official pages describe discounts but do not provide matched prices for the same itinerary, dates, room or fare class, taxes, and cancellation conditions. They also do not establish a typical savings percentage or average dollar saving. The company’s discount language is therefore not enough to show that a membership will reduce the cost of your trip.
- Price the exact trip both ways. Match destination, travel dates, occupancy, room or fare class, baggage or other relevant inclusions, and cancellation rules. Compare the member price with a public price for the same booking—not a different itinerary or a headline rate.
- Compare the total payable amount. Include taxes, fees, and any other charges shown during booking. A lower displayed base rate may not mean a lower final price.
- Add the membership cost for the period you will use it. Use the actual billing cadence and checkout amount. Include charges you would incur while waiting to book or while using the membership, rather than treating the fee as a one-time cost.
- Account for flexibility and conditions. Compare cancellation, change, supplier, and availability terms as well as price. A less flexible booking may not be an equivalent deal for your needs.
- Value the Reward Trip only after checking its terms. Confirm the current qualifying rules, available locations, included costs, booking deadlines, and what happens if membership ends before relying on it in your calculation.
If the exact booking and total costs are not available for comparison, the membership’s value for that trip remains unproven. Its usefulness will depend on the prices and terms you can actually access and how often you use the service.
