IX Social is INFINOX’s copy-trading app, not a standalone brokerage or a general social network for investing. It connects a follower’s INFINOX MT4 or MT5 trading account to a Provider’s strategy and automatically places corresponding trades.
That makes trading simpler to operate, but not necessarily safer or suitable for everyone. You need an eligible INFINOX trading account, the correct account credentials, sufficient margin and a clear understanding of how copied trades can differ from the Provider’s results.
What IX Social does
IX Social has two main roles:
- Providers publish trading strategies.
- Followers select a Provider and allow the platform to copy trades to their linked account.
The app can execute copied trades while it is closed, according to its current Android listing. That does not mean the phone itself is independently trading: the linked INFINOX account and the underlying MT4 or MT5 infrastructure still need to be available and functioning.
IX Social is therefore closer to a managed copy-trading service than to a traditional investing app. It is generally associated with leveraged trading products, where losses can occur quickly and may be amplified by position size, market volatility and margin requirements.

Is IX Social really accessible to everyone?
Not literally. The phrase is marketing language rather than a description of the eligibility requirements.
Current registration instructions require an INFINOX trading account and these details:
- Server
- Trading Account Number
- MetaTrader or trading-account password
Availability, account terms, products and regulatory protections can also depend on the INFINOX entity serving your country. The Android listing identifies INFINOX Limited as an Investment Dealer regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius under licence GB20025832. That disclosure should not be assumed to apply to every INFINOX company or every customer worldwide.
How to join a Provider
You can register from the leaderboard, search for a Provider directly or use a Provider’s join link.
From the leaderboard
- Sign in to the INFINOX Client Area at
https://myaccount.infinox.com/accounts. - Open IX SOCIAL from the side menu.
- Select Leaderboard.
- Review the available Provider profiles.
- Choose a Provider and click Invest.
- Enter the account’s Server, Trading Account Number and Trading Account Password.
- Review the strategy name, performance fee and other applicable charges.
- Accept the Terms of Business and click Register.
Provider profiles may show overall return, total profit, account history and traded instruments. These figures describe past activity. They are not forecasts and do not guarantee that your account will produce the same result.
Without a join link
- Open the INFINOX Client Area.
- Choose IX SOCIAL, then Register Follower.
- Enter your Server, Trading Account Number and Trading Account Password.
- Type the Provider’s name into the Provider field and select the correct result.
- If several offers are available, choose one under Offer.
- Check the displayed minimum balance, performance-fee percentage and charging interval.
- Accept the Terms of Business and click Register.
A join link follows a similar process. It displays the Provider nickname and fee information before asking you to enter the credentials for your INFINOX account.

Copy-sizing options explained
Choosing a Provider is only half of the decision. The copy settings determine how much exposure your account takes when the Provider opens a trade.

The documented settings are available through Home → Provider, followed by the relevant Provider strategy.

Small trades and maximum lot sizes
A calculated copied trade may be smaller than the broker’s minimum permitted lot. With Skip low volumes, the trade may be skipped or handled according to the configured copy-risk rules. With Risk by rounding to min lot, the platform opens the trade at the minimum lot instead. That can create more exposure than the proportional calculation would suggest.
You can also set a maximum permitted lot size. If the Provider’s trade exceeds it, choose between:
- Skip: do not open the copied trade.
- Scale down: reduce the trade to your maximum permitted lot.
These controls are useful, but they do not convert a leveraged strategy into a low-risk investment.
Fees and account costs
The app is free to download. That does not mean copying is free. Depending on the account, instrument and Provider offer, costs can include brokerage, trading, transaction, administration and Provider fees.

Provider compensation may be charged as a performance fee, with the offer showing the relevant percentage and whether the charging interval is daily, weekly or monthly. Review the fee terms before registering. The 2026 Terms of Business also state that if an automatic deduction fails, the client can remain responsible for paying the amount due.
Risk controls: useful, but not guarantees
IX Social advertises drawdown controls, including warning, soft-stop and hard-stop levels. It also allows users to adjust or reset drawdown levels and receive notifications about copied trades, Provider trades, triggered orders, chat activity and selected price levels.
These features help manage exposure; they cannot guarantee that losses will stop at an exact amount. Fast markets, slippage, latency, insufficient margin and execution delays can affect the result before a control takes effect. A stop-loss or other account protection may also prevent a copied trade from opening or closing as expected.
Why your result can differ from the Provider’s
Copy trading is not a perfect mirror. The Terms of Business identify several ways that results can diverge:

- Different trade size: autoscaling, fixed lots, multipliers and minimum-lot rules change the position.
- No trade: the platform may skip an order because of low volume, a maximum-lot rule, insufficient margin, account limits or a service outage.
- Manual intervention: closing or modifying a copied position, or withdrawing funds, can break the comparison with the Provider’s account.
- Partial information: a notification may be delayed, incomplete or represent only one part of the Provider’s wider strategy.
For example, a Provider might open a 0.20-lot position, while autoscaling calculates 0.006 lots for your account. If your settings skip volumes below the minimum lot, you may receive no trade at all. If the system rounds to a 0.01-lot minimum, you receive a position that is not an exact proportional copy.
App availability
IX Social is listed as a free app on both major mobile platforms, although the current requirements are not identical:

The iPhone listing is iPhone-only and lists English as its language. Older iPhones or devices that cannot run iOS 26 may not support the current release.
What Providers and chat do not provide
A Provider’s profile, comments or chat should not be treated as personalised financial advice. The Terms describe Provider content as neither investment advice nor a personal recommendation or inducement to trade. They also state that chat and comments are recorded but not regularly monitored.
Do not choose a strategy solely because it has the highest historical return. Check its trading instruments, account history, drawdown, minimum balance, fee structure and position-sizing approach. A short period of strong performance can conceal high leverage or a strategy that has not yet experienced difficult market conditions.
Practical checks before copying a strategy
- Confirm the entity and account terms. Check which INFINOX company will provide your service and what protections apply in your jurisdiction.
- Read the Provider’s history. Look beyond total return. Review drawdown, duration, instruments and how frequently trades are opened.
- Calculate the worst plausible exposure. Consider the maximum lot size, leverage, margin requirement and what happens when a small trade is rounded up.
- Check every fee. Include Provider performance fees and normal trading or administration costs.
- Set copy controls before registering. Decide whether oversized trades should be skipped or scaled down and whether very small trades should be skipped or rounded.
- Keep emergency access. Know how to stop copying and how to manage open positions if the Provider, app or connection becomes unavailable.
- Do not rely on notifications. Check the trading account itself; notifications may be delayed or incomplete.
Bottom line
IX Social can make the mechanics of following a trading strategy easier: select a Provider, link an INFINOX MT4 or MT5 account and configure how trades are sized. But it does not make trading risk-free, guarantee the Provider’s returns or remove the need to monitor fees, margin and execution.
The most accurate description is a broker-linked copy-trading service with adjustable exposure controls. It may suit someone who understands leveraged trading and is prepared to review the settings and risks. It is not automatically suitable for beginners, and the headline idea that it makes trading accessible to everyone should not be confused with universal eligibility or safe returns.
