These Cyber Monday streaming deals are not still available. TechRadar’s live deal coverage was last updated on December 4, 2024, and the final U.S. promotion it identified expired that day. The offers below are useful as a record of how much streaming companies discounted their services—and as a reminder to check the renewal price before signing up for any future promotion—but they should not be treated as current offers on August 9, 2026.
The strongest Cyber Monday 2024 streaming discounts
The biggest savings were concentrated in ad-supported plans and introductory subscriptions. Most offers were limited to new or eligible returning customers, and nearly all automatically renewed at the standard—or then-current—price after the promotional period.
| Service | Cyber Monday 2024 price | Promotion length | Potential saving versus reported regular price | Deadline or important term |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hulu with ads | $0.99 per month | 12 months | $108 over the year | Ended December 2, 2024; new and eligible returning customers |
| Disney+ and Hulu Duo Basic | $2.99 per month | 12 months | $96 over the year | Ended December 2, 2024; returning users generally needed to have canceled at least one month earlier |
| Peacock Premium | $19.99 total, or $1.99 per month | 12 months or six months | $60 on the annual offer versus $79.99 | Ended December 2, 2024; codes were REALDEAL and REALDEALMONTHLY |
| Max with ads | $2.99 per month | Six months | About $42 | Ended December 2, 2024; eligible new and returning customers |
| Paramount+ Essential | $2.99 per month | Two months | About $10 | Offer ran through December 4, 2024 |
| Paramount+ with Showtime | $2.99 per month | Two months | About $20 | Required code BLACKFRIDAY; offer ran through December 4, 2024 |
| Starz | $5 total | Three months | About $17.97 | Limited-time offer; the related Starz/BritBox bundle had ended by December 4 |
Hulu with ads: $0.99 for 12 months
This was one of the clearest dollar-saving offers. At the reported regular price of $9.99 per month, 12 months would have cost $119.88. The promotional total was $11.88, producing a nominal first-year saving of $108.
The offer was for new and eligible returning subscribers, not necessarily people who already had an active Hulu account. After the promotional year, the subscription renewed at the regular or then-current price. Anyone taking the deal needed to set a reminder before the 12th month rather than assuming the $0.99 rate would continue.

Disney+ and Hulu Duo Basic: $2.99 for a year
The ad-supported Disney+/Hulu Duo Basic promotion reduced the reported $10.99 monthly bundle price to $2.99 for 12 months. That worked out to $35.88 for the promotional year instead of $131.88, a difference of $96.
This was not a permanent $2.99 bundle. The price reverted after the first year, and eligibility rules applied. One report specified that returning customers needed to have canceled at least one month earlier.
It is also important not to confuse this promotion with Disney’s regular bundle pricing. The $10.99 Disney+/Hulu ad-supported bundle and the $16.99 Disney+/Hulu/Max ad-supported bundle were regular bundle prices in TechRadar’s final update, not Cyber Monday prices. The $16.99 option included the ad-supported versions of all three services; it did not provide the premium ad-free tiers.
Peacock: $19.99 for a year or $1.99 for six months
Peacock Premium had two reported promotional routes:

REALDEALMONTHLY.
The annual option was not $19.99 per month. It was $19.99 for the entire year, compared with the reported $79.99 ordinary annual price. Both offers ended December 2, 2024, and renewal after the discounted period was at the regular price.
Max: $2.99 per month for six months
Max’s ad-supported plan was discounted to $2.99 per month for six months, compared with the reported $9.99 standard price. Six promotional months cost $17.94 rather than $59.94, saving approximately $42.
The discount was limited to new and eligible returning subscribers and ended December 2, 2024. The $2.99 rate did not continue indefinitely. A subscriber who did not cancel before the next billing cycle would have moved to the prevailing regular price.
Paramount+: two months at $2.99
Paramount+ offered both its Essential plan and its Paramount+ with Showtime plan at $2.99 per month for the first two months. The reported regular prices were $7.99 for Essential and $12.99 for the Showtime plan.

The Showtime promotion required the code BLACKFRIDAY. New and eligible former subscribers could qualify, while existing customers were not automatically entitled to the discounted rate. TechRadar reported that the offer ran through December 4, 2024, after which the subscription returned to its then-current price.
Live-TV services: Sling TV and YouTube TV
Sling’s offer applied a 50% first-month discount:
- Sling Orange: $20
- Sling Blue: $22.50
- Sling Orange & Blue: $30
The deal was available to new and returning customers. TechRadar also reported an additional $5 first-month discount for some new customers who added selected services. This was a first-month promotion, not a long-term reduction in the monthly bill.
YouTube TV Base was reported at $49.99 per month against a then-current $72.99 price. However, this offer needs especially careful historical treatment: YouTube TV later announced a $10 monthly increase, taking the base plan to $82.99 for new users on December 12, 2024, with existing users affected from January 13, 2025. The Cyber Monday price therefore cannot be used as a guide to the service’s current cost.

Starz: $5 for three months
Starz was offered at $5 for three months, compared with a reported regular three-month cost of $32.97. That represented a stated saving of $27.97, or roughly 84%, although TechRadar’s comparison described the discount as 84%.
The report did not give a firm expiration date for the standalone Starz offer. The Starz and BritBox $4.99 bundle, however, had already ended in the U.S. by December 4, 2024.

Streaming promotions were particularly attractive because many services had raised prices or changed plan structures during 2024. Disney’s ad-supported Disney+/Hulu bundle, for example, had moved to $10.99 per month. YouTube TV’s later increase pushed its base plan from $72.99 to $82.99.
A discount can offset those increases temporarily, but it does not change the long-term cost of keeping several subscriptions. A household that signed up for Hulu, Disney+/Hulu Duo, Max, Peacock and Paramount+ simultaneously could have accumulated several separate renewal dates and a much larger bill once the introductory periods ended.

How to handle future streaming promotions
- Calculate the full promotional cost. Multiply the discounted monthly price by the number of months. A six-month offer at $2.99 costs $17.94, not “$2.99” in any meaningful annual-budget calculation.
- Record the renewal date. Put a calendar reminder 7 to 14 days before the first full-price bill.
- Check eligibility before canceling. Some deals were restricted to new or select returning users, and one Disney/Hulu report required a month-long gap after cancellation.
- Check the billing channel. A subscription purchased through Apple, Google, a TV provider or another bundle may need to be canceled through that same provider.
- Cancel services you are not watching. A low introductory price still becomes wasteful when the service sits unused for months.
- Compare bundles with standalone plans. The $10.99 Disney+/Hulu and $16.99 Disney+/Hulu/Max prices were regular bundle prices in the 2024 coverage, not limited-time Cyber Monday discounts.
Netflix was another notable exception: it did not offer a direct Cyber Monday subscription discount in 2024. Savings were more likely to come indirectly through discounted pay-TV, mobile or internet bundles.

The Bottom Line
The best Cyber Monday 2024 streaming offers were Hulu at $0.99 for a year, Disney+/Hulu Duo Basic at $2.99 for a year, Peacock at $19.99 for a year and Max at $2.99 for six months. None should be presented as available now. Their lasting personal-finance lesson is straightforward: compare the total introductory cost with the renewal price, track every end date and cancel subscriptions before they turn into full-price bills.
