A separate Wealthy Gorilla page also estimates Charlie Day’s net worth at $30 million, while acknowledging that cast salaries have not been disclosed. The additional estimate does not verify the figure, and it does not establish the actors’ pay for later seasons.
How the actors’ work on Sunny differs
FX credits Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Glenn Howerton as writers and executive producers; McElhenney is also credited as the series creator. Kaitlin Olson and Danny DeVito are listed as cast. These credits show that the principals’ roles are not identical, but they do not disclose contract terms, ownership percentages, backend participation, or individual earnings from the show.

McElhenney’s account of the early economics
In a 2025 Variety feature, McElhenney said he was paid $7,500 per episode in the first season.
