Just Jared says its figures come from Celebrity Net Worth; they are publisher estimates, not confirmed financial records. One important wrinkle: Celebrity Net Worth describes Rob McElhenney’s $50 million figure as combined with Kaitlin Olson.

The character names are consistent with the FX Networks cast page, which lists Day as Charlie, Howerton as Dennis, Olson as Dee and DeVito as Frank.
Why the $50 million tie needs a caveat
Just Jared presents McElhenney and Olson with matching $50 million estimates. But Celebrity Net Worth’s McElhenney profile labels its $50 million figure as combined with Olson. That makes the apparent tie difficult to interpret as two distinct individual fortunes: the ranking’s matching entries do not establish that each actor separately has $50 million.

What these estimates can—and cannot—tell you
A net-worth estimate is not the same as salary, annual income or cash in the bank. It attempts to describe wealth, but the cited material does not provide a comparable breakdown of assets and debts for these five actors. Celebrity Net Worth explains on its Glenn Howerton profile that its calculations draw on public sources and, when provided, private tips or feedback, and that figures are estimates unless otherwise indicated. That is the site’s methodology statement, not an independent audit.
The ranking also does not establish how much any actor earns per episode or how much of an estimated fortune came from the show. In particular, Celebrity Net Worth says DeVito’s exact series salary has not been publicly disclosed; the $80 million estimate is not evidence of a particular Sunny paycheck. Its DeVito profile was last updated October 1, 2026, but the five-person ranking itself was published in 2024, so the estimates should be understood as reported in that dated list rather than current verified balances.
