Is ITBP Constable registration open?
The official notice confirmed here is the Staff Selection Commission’s Constable (GD) Examination 2026 notice, published on 1 December 2025. The Press Information Bureau posted an announcement about it on 4 December 2025. The examination recruited for Constable (General Duty) roles across BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and SSF, as well as Rifleman (General Duty) roles in Assam Rifles. It was not an ITBP-only recruitment notice. The PIB announcement says candidates from all parts of India may apply.
The online application deadline for that examination was 31 December 2025 at 23:00, and the online fee-payment deadline was 1 January 2026 at 23:00. Those dates have passed. The announcement does not establish that registration is currently open for another ITBP Constable recruitment.
Are 819 ITBP Constable vacancies confirmed?
No ITBP-specific vacancy count of 819 is confirmed by the SSC GD 2026 announcement. It identifies ITBP as one of the participating forces but does not provide an ITBP-only count in the reviewed text. The exact notice behind the 819-post claim was not identified, so treat that number as unverified unless it appears in a matching official notice.
Where to check for a separate ITBP recruitment
ITBP’s official careers page directs candidates to its recruitment portal for recruitment information: ITBP official website. Check the portal for a current ITBP-specific notice before relying on a vacancy total, deadline, eligibility condition or application link. The SSC GD notice’s application routes—ssc.gov.in and the mySSC Android app—apply to that examination, not automatically to a separate ITBP recruitment.

The PIB announcement says the detailed SSC notice contains post details, age limits, essential educational qualifications, fees, the examination scheme and instructions for applying. Those specifics are not set out in the PIB text reviewed here. They should not be assumed to apply to a separate ITBP-only vacancy, and eligibility or selection requirements should not be transferred from another recruitment cycle.
The surfaced ITBP contact page lists recruitment helplines at 011-24369482 and 011-24369483, with weekday hours of 09:30–18:00 except gazetted holidays. Confirm the numbers and hours on the current official page before relying on them: ITBP official website.
