No universal 50%-off Sam’s Club new-member offer is confirmed on the official offers page checked October 8, 2026. The offers shown are for specific eligible groups, including a military offer and a separate senior discount. Check the live terms before joining: eligibility, prior-membership rules and recurring renewal charges vary.
Is the Sam’s Club 50% off new-member deal available?
Sam’s Club’s official Membership Offers page, checked October 8, 2026, does not establish a 50%-off membership price available to all new members. It shows discounts tied to audience eligibility and verification. The page does not state an end date for a broadly available 50%-off offer, so the headline should not be treated as confirmation that one is currently available.
Use the live offer page to verify the price and terms for your situation before paying. A discount for a verified group is not the same as a general new-member promotion.
What offers and eligibility rules are listed?
| Offer | Discount or price stated | Who may qualify | Prior-membership rule |
|---|---|---|---|
| Military offer on Sam’s Club’s Membership Offers page, checked October 8, 2026 | Club for $20 or Plus for $50 | Eligible military members who join through the offer link provided through ID.me | Military-specific terms exclude former members who were members less than 24 months earlier. General verified-offer terms also exclude renewals, current members, former members who left less than six months earlier, and Sam’s Club or Walmart associates. Check which terms apply to the offer you are using. |
| Senior offer on Sam’s Club’s senior discount page, checked October 8, 2026 | 60% off Club or $50 off Plus | Adults aged 50 or older who verify eligibility through ID.me | Applicants must be new members and must not have had an active membership in the previous six months. |
The stated military prices and senior discounts are separate offers with different eligibility requirements; neither establishes a universal 50%-off deal. Sam’s Club’s trial-membership terms separately say a trial is available to people at least 18 who do not have an active membership and have not had one in the previous six months. That is a trial eligibility rule, not proof of a discounted paid membership.

What to check before enrolling
- Open the current offer page. Confirm that the promotion is still displayed and that its price, membership tier and terms match what you expect.
- Confirm your eligibility. Check whether the offer requires ID.me verification, a particular offer link, or a qualifying age or status. Review the prior-membership lookback for that specific promotion.
- Review the charge and renewal terms. Sam’s Club says accepting an offer authorizes an immediate charge for the displayed membership price plus applicable taxes. The preferred payment method is then charged annually at the membership price in effect at renewal, plus applicable taxes, until cancellation. Review the current membership terms and renewal price before signing up.
- Save the offer details. Keep a copy of the price and terms shown at enrollment so you can refer to the eligibility and renewal conditions later.
A Plus membership may include a separate WW benefit
In a July 9, 2026 announcement, Sam’s Club and WW International said Plus members may receive a complimentary three-month Weight Watchers Core membership, described as a $54 value, followed by a $10 monthly Core membership if continued. The announcement also says all Sam’s Club members can access savings of up to 50% on select Weight Watchers programs. These are separate service benefits, not a 50%-off Sam’s Club membership price. Check the collaboration announcement for the applicable terms.

How to decide whether an offer is worthwhile
- Compare the price you will actually pay with the tier’s benefits and your expected use—not with an unverified 50% headline.
- Make sure you meet the offer’s verification and prior-membership rules before starting enrollment.
- Account for the annual renewal at the then-current price, not just the first charge.
