As of October 8, 2026, the $45/100GB offer is reported by a Public Mobile Community poster, but its availability to all new customers is not confirmed. The official plans page retrieved for this date instead showed a $45/month, 125GB Canada-US-Mexico 5G offer with an end date of October 5. Check the plan and eligibility shown during signup before relying on either configuration.
What Public Mobile’s current listings show
The official Public Mobile plans page retrieved on October 8 listed a Back to School offer at $45 per month for 125GB, with Canada-US-Mexico coverage, 5G speed, unlimited talk and text, 1,000 international minutes, and 2% back in Public Points. The page said the offer ended October 5, so it does not establish that those terms remain available.
On October 6, a Public Mobile Community post said the Back to School deals were gone and described the $45 tier as 100GB. That is a recent community report, not confirmation that every new customer can sign up for it or a complete statement of its terms.
How to check whether you can get the $45/100GB plan
- Open Public Mobile’s signup flow and review the plans presented for a new activation.
- Before proceeding, confirm the displayed monthly price, data allowance, service area, talk and text, any international-minute inclusion, and the offer’s end date.
- Check whether the offer is specifically available to new activations or is targeted to particular accounts. Do not infer eligibility from a community post or an offer shown to someone else.
- Save or screenshot the displayed terms before completing activation so you can refer to what was offered.
If signup displays $45 for 100GB, treat that as the terms currently presented to you; if it displays a different allowance or price, use the displayed terms rather than assuming the reported configuration applies.

New customers and existing subscribers may see different offers
Do not assume that a plan marketed to new activations is also available to existing subscribers. In a March 24 discussion about a different $40/100GB offer, an accepted Community response said it was for new activations. That historical exchange does not establish the rules for the current $45 offer, but it shows why customers should verify eligibility in their own account or signup flow. See the March Community discussion for that earlier offer.
Why the $45 data allowance has changed
Public Mobile’s $45 tier has had different data amounts during 2026. iPhone in Canada reported a $45/100GB Canada-US-Mexico 5G plan on April 29, after a previous 175GB configuration; on May 21, it reported that the tier had moved to 150GB from 100GB. Those dated reports illustrate why an older article or search result may not match the plan currently shown to a prospective customer.

What to compare before choosing a plan
When weighing this offer against another Public Mobile plan or a competing carrier, compare the terms that affect both the bill and how you can use the service:
- Monthly price and whether the amount is ongoing or tied to a dated promotion.
- Monthly high-speed data allowance.
- Coverage area: Canada only, or Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
- Talk and text, plus any international-minute inclusion.
- Offer end date and eligibility for new activations, existing customers, or targeted accounts.
The October 8 listing’s 125GB terms should not be assumed to apply to the community-reported 100GB offer. Verify each inclusion on the offer you are actually shown.
