Is the $29 20GB Canada–U.S.–Mexico plan still available?
Public Mobile’s official plans page does not list the exact $29/20GB Canada–U.S.–Mexico offer as of October 8, 2026. A Community discussion dated December 28, 2024 refers to a $29/20GB offer, but it does not establish that the offer is available now or who can still get it. The plan may have been a past promotion or targeted offer; verify its current availability directly with Public Mobile before signing up.
The current official listing shows two nearby options, but neither is the same plan: Public Mobile’s plans page lists a $35/month plan with 25GB for Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, and a separate $30/month plan with 20GB for Canada-wide use. The listing confirms those headline prices and data amounts; it does not establish every term for each plan.

The $30 plan is not a lower-priced version of the cross-border plan: its listed coverage is Canada-wide, not Canada–U.S.–Mexico. The checked listing does not establish the detailed speed, calling, eligibility or renewal terms for either option.

What to verify before choosing a plan
Public Mobile’s coverage page says, “Travel seamlessly with a Canada-US-Mexico plan — no plan changes, no overage charges.” That is general promotional language, not a substitute for the terms of a specific plan. Check the offer details shown during signup or in your account for:
- The exact monthly price and whether it is recurring or promotional.
- The included data amount and whether 5G access is part of that specific offer.
- Which countries are included and what usage is allowed while travelling there.
- Whether international calling minutes are included, and which destinations they cover.
- Eligibility, renewal terms and any conditions that apply after an offer period.
Public Mobile describes its plans as subscriptions, promotes eSIM activation and directs customers to manage their account through its app. Review the current offer before subscribing, and retain the plan details shown at checkout. Official information is available on the coverage page and plans page.
