When does Hulu raise its prices?
Hulu’s U.S. plans notice gives two dates for different groups. Prices displayed for new subscriptions apply from September 23, 2026. Subscribers who signed up before that date will see a price change in a billing cycle on or after October 21, 2026. Hulu’s wording is: “If you signed up for a Hulu subscription prior to this date, you will see a price change in your billing cycle on or after October 21, 2026.” Hulu’s plans page is the official source for the notice.

That timing does not confirm October 10 as the effective date for existing U.S. subscribers. The notice ties the change to each subscriber’s billing cycle, so the date may differ from one account to another.
When will the new Hulu price show up on my bill?
Look up your next billing date in your Hulu account and compare it with the October 21-or-later window. The notice says the change will appear in a billing cycle on or after that date, not that every subscriber will be charged on October 21 itself. New subscribers are covered by the listed prices applying from September 23.

What will Hulu cost after the change?
The available official notice confirms the timing but does not provide readable plan-by-plan before-and-after prices. It therefore does not establish the size of the increase for a particular plan. Check the current plan details and any account-specific billing notice before budgeting for a new monthly total; do not infer the amount from the date alone.
Does the Hulu + Live TV offer explain the price increase?
No. Hulu’s Live TV page lists a separate introductory offer: $49.99 for one month, then $99.99 per month or the then-current regular monthly price. The offer is stated to end at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time on October 26, 2026, and eligibility restrictions apply.
