AD HOC NEWS reported a Lang & Schwarz indication of EUR 1.10 at 15:04 CEST on October 9, 2026, unchanged against the prior close. The same report listed EUR 1.10 bid and EUR 1.11 ask; an ask is not proof of a completed trade at EUR 1.11.
What the October 9 quote does—and does not—show
AD HOC NEWS’s October 9, 2026 report gives the Lang & Schwarz EUR indication as EUR 1.10 at 15:04 CEST, unchanged from the previous Lang & Schwarz close of EUR 1.10. It separately lists a EUR 1.10 bid and EUR 1.11 ask. These are different quote fields: the bid is the displayed buying price, the ask the displayed selling price, and neither by itself establishes a completed trade at that price. The report does not verify a later after-hours last trade at EUR 1.11 or a gain of 0.91%. Read the dated quote report.

Why the EUR display needs an instrument check
China Construction Bank Corporation has distinct listed share lines. The issuer identifies its Hong Kong H-shares, whose stock code is 00939; search-returned market reporting identifies the Shanghai A-share code as 601939. The available EUR quote report does not establish which share line its Lang & Schwarz display maps to or how any currency conversion is handled. Do not treat that EUR figure as interchangeable with a Hong Kong or Shanghai exchange quote.

The bank’s investor-relations FAQ describes the institution’s history, while its announcement archive provides issuer filings. Neither source independently verifies the EUR after-hours price. Its First Quarter Report of 2026 identifies China Construction Bank Corporation and Hong Kong stock code 00939; it covers unaudited consolidated results for the period ended March 31, 2026 under IFRS Accounting Standards.
Other dated EUR readings are not a current price history

How to verify a stock-price headline
Before relying on an after-hours figure, check that the source identifies the precise instrument and the quote field. Record the details together so a bid, ask or indication is not mistaken for a last trade:

- Venue or provider: identify the exchange or quote provider; the October 9 EUR report is secondary reporting of a Lang & Schwarz indication, not an official exchange close.
- Quote field: distinguish last trade, close, bid and ask. A displayed ask does not establish a trade.
- Time: note the exact timestamp and time zone. The October 9 daytime report was timestamped 15:04 CEST (13:04 UTC), earlier than an after-hours observation would need to be.
- Currency and comparison: record the displayed currency and the specific reference close used for any percentage change. Do not infer a gain from an ask or from a different session’s close.
If a quote source omits the instrument mapping, conversion method, timestamp or comparison close, that part of the claim remains unverified. Prices change quickly, so a dated report cannot establish the live quote at a later time.
