Baby Doge Coin (BABYDOGE) topped a social-engagement ranking reported in March 2022, with 17.7 million engagements. That is a historical figure, not proof that BabyDoge leads today: the available sources do not establish a current, comparable ranking of BNB Smart Chain meme coins by social-media engagement.
What the March 2022 ranking reported
TechTimes reported a ranking it attributed to BSCDaily. The article listed these social-engagement figures, but did not explain the measurement period, social platforms, or the exact definition of “engagement.” Treat the numbers as historical values reported at the time, not current counts.

Is BabyDoge dominating social media now?
That is unconfirmed. The sources available do not provide a current leaderboard comparing BNB Smart Chain meme tokens on the same platforms, with the same time window and metric. A recent Binance Square post includes BABYDOGE in a highlighted set of meme coins by 24-hour social engagement, but gives neither comparable counts nor methodology and does not identify BabyDoge as the leader. “Most popular” needs a defined measure. Social engagement is not interchangeable with token price, market capitalization, number of holders, decentralized-exchange volume, or activity on a dApp. Those measures can move differently and answer different questions.
Why social rankings can disagree
A figure called “engagement” is only useful when its measurement rules are clear. Before comparing tokens or dates, check:

- Time window: Is the count for 24 hours, a week, or another period?
- Metric: Does it count posts, replies, likes and reposts, or use a provider’s scored estimate?
- Platform coverage: Which networks and token-related accounts are included?
- Scope: Does the ranking cover BNB Smart Chain tokens only, or meme coins across chains?
- Method and caveats: Is the value a raw total or a score, and what does the provider say it represents?
The 2022 TechTimes article does not disclose these details for its BSCDaily figures, so its counts should not be compared directly with a different service’s score or a current follower total.
What current dashboards measure
Binance Wallet Social Hype
Binance says its Social Hype feature analyzes social-media posts from the previous 24 hours to assess token hype and sentiment. Its Hype Leaderboard ranks tokens using a Hype Score based on social visibility and discussion volume during that period. Mindshare can show historical hype data for up to 30 days. Binance also says its time filter does not affect the Hype Leaderboard, although it affects Mindshare and Hype Rising. BNB Chain DappBay social ranking
DappBay’s BNB Smart Chain Social category lists social dApps and sorts them by users, total value locked (TVL), and transactions. It includes apps such as FLOKI BSC. These are app-activity measures, not counts of interactions with meme-token posts, so the ranking cannot substitute for a token social-media leaderboard. BNB Chain DappBay.
BabyDoge’s current project context
CoinMarketCap describes BabyDoge as a BNB Chain meme coin and presents profile information about its community, token supply, charity activity, and trading venues. These are profile descriptions, not independent verification of every project-supplied figure; trading venues can change. CoinMarketCap’s BabyDoge profile.
BabyDoge’s official Products page lists a swap, the Puppyfun meme-token launchpad, and a bridge for moving BABYDOGE among supported chains. The page labels its tokenomics and market figures “Figures as of September 2026”; those figures do not measure social engagement. - Identify the source and the date of the ranking.
- Find the stated time window, platforms, and definition or formula for engagement.
- Confirm that the list compares BNB Smart Chain meme tokens, rather than apps or tokens across multiple chains.
- Compare only figures produced under the same method and period; do not substitute market data, followers, or app transactions for social interactions.
- Read the provider’s caveats, particularly when a score estimates visibility or sentiment rather than counting a disclosed set of interactions.
Without those details, a ranking may still show what one provider reported, but it does not establish a general or current winner.
