The company has been reconciling claims, liquidating loan assets and making distributions. Its latest dated update in the reviewed official materials is December 17, 2025; those materials do not establish whether the wind-down or distributions are complete as of October 8, 2026.
Is PeerStreet still operating?
PeerStreet’s official investor updates document a Chapter 11 wind-down and continuing claims administration. On October 8, 2025, the company reported an interim distribution across investments in MDPN, RWN (Pocket), PDN (Portfolio) and Opportunity Fund II. It also said an external asset manager continued working to liquidate remaining loan assets. PeerStreet’s investor updates are the appropriate place for existing investors to check for later announcements.
The latest dated item in the official materials reviewed here is December 17, 2025. That update reported $22.2 million in charge-offs for MDPN and $7.0 million for RWN (Pocket) on loans liquidated before the plan effective date. PeerStreet said those investments were fully distributed and no further distributions were expected for them. These amounts refer to the specific investments named in that update; they are not a measure of total investor losses.
Can I still invest with PeerStreet?
The reviewed official materials do not establish that new PeerStreet investment opportunities are listed or available. The company’s eligibility page describes its historical investor requirements: investors had to be accredited under the SEC definition and domiciled in the United States. Eligibility rules alone do not mean that a person can currently invest.

What happened to PeerStreet?
How its real estate investment model worked
PeerStreet described itself as a marketplace for real estate debt. It said it sourced loans from private lenders and brokers, then aggregated, serviced and managed them for investors. Under its Terms of Service, the platform allowed accredited investors to buy participating interests in real estate loans.
Rank #2
PeerStreet’s historical marketing said borrowers made monthly interest payments and investors received a share. That describes the intended payment model; it does not establish that every loan paid as expected, that principal was returned, or that new investments are available now.
How Pocket differed from loan investments
PeerStreet also marketed Pocket as an interest-bearing cash product. The company stated that it was not a bank, Pocket was not a bank account, and Pocket was not FDIC-insured. Those are historical product descriptions, not a recommendation to treat Pocket or real estate debt as a deposit or liquid cash substitute.
Rank #3
Historical platform figures
PeerStreet’s promotional page reported $5 billion or more transacted, investors represented in 47 states, and more than $280 million in interest returned, with each figure marked as of November 2022. These are company-published historical platform metrics, not current performance data or evidence of an individual investor’s outcome. PeerStreet’s promotional page also cautioned that investments involved risk, could result in loss, and that past performance was no guarantee of future results.
When will PeerStreet investors get paid?
The official updates do not establish a guaranteed date for future distributions. The timing depends on the remaining asset liquidation and claims administration. PeerStreet has said disputed or duplicate proofs of claim can lead to cash being reserved while claims are reconciled; further distributions may follow resolution of disputes. An interim distribution or another investor’s payment is not a promise of when, or whether, a particular investor will receive more.

The reviewed updates do not establish a guaranteed recovery percentage. Outcomes can differ by investment and by the status of an investor’s claim, while assets are still being liquidated and disputed claims reconciled. The December 17, 2025 charge-off figures apply to the named MDPN and RWN (Pocket) investments and should not be used to estimate another account’s recovery.
Existing investors should check their PeerStreet account and the official investor updates page for account-specific notices and subsequent status changes. The public updates do not replace individualized account information or legal or tax advice.
