Inside Lil Wayne’s Former Miami Beach Mansion—and What Its $29.5 Million Price Meant

Lil Wayne’s former Miami Beach mansion was a seven-bedroom waterfront home on Allison Island, with a pool, private dock, cabana and a movie theater lined in suede. The roughly $29 million figure was its 2022 asking price—not what it ultimately sold for: the home changed hands for $22.583 million in 2023 and sold again for $33.25 million in March 2026.

What was inside Lil Wayne’s Miami Beach mansion?

The home at 6480 Allison Road sat on a half-acre lot on Allison Island. The Los Angeles Times reported 110 feet of waterfront, a pool, cabana and private dock. A floating walkway led toward the entrance, while the home’s wood-and-glass exterior opened into minimalist interiors with 22-foot ceilings. Los Angeles Times (September 27, 2022)

Published accounts describe a seven-bedroom layout. The primary suite had a private terrace, and the home’s other reported amenities included an elevator, wine cellar, outdoor patio and movie theater. Realtor.com (March 13, 2023)

The theater and the route outdoors

The theater was distinguished by suede wall coverings, according to the Miami Herald’s 2022 tour. The same account describes a mahogany-clad entryway and sliding doors that opened toward the pool, outdoor dining areas, cabana and waterfront. Miami Herald (September 27, 2022)

How large was the house?

Published square-footage figures differ, so they should not be treated as interchangeable. Realtor.com described the house as 10,278 square feet; the Miami Herald reported 10,632 square feet in its March 2026 sale coverage. Both accounts identify seven bedrooms. The available reports do not explain the discrepancy. Realtor.com (March 13, 2023) · Miami Herald (March 14, 2026)

Realtor.com identified Choeff Levy Fischman as the home’s design firm and said it was built in 2017. Realtor.com (March 13, 2023)

Why was it called a $29 million mansion?

The figure refers to the home’s 2022 listing, not a completed sale. Realtor.com and the Los Angeles Times reported an initial asking price of $29.5 million in September 2022. Realtor.com reported that the asking price was later reduced to $28 million. Los Angeles Times (September 27, 2022) · Realtor.com (March 13, 2023)

Date Reported price What it represents
2018 $16.75 million Reported purchase by Lil Wayne, according to Realtor.com and the Miami Herald’s 2026 retrospective. Miami Herald (March 14, 2026)
September 2022 $29.5 million Initial asking price reported by the Los Angeles Times and Realtor.com. Los Angeles Times (September 27, 2022)
2022 $28 million Reduced asking price reported by Realtor.com. Realtor.com (March 13, 2023)
February 2023 $22.583 million Sale price reported by Realtor.com and the Miami Herald. Realtor.com (March 13, 2023) · Miami Herald (March 14, 2026)
March 2026 $33.25 million Later sale price reported by the Miami Herald and recorded in Realtor.com’s property history. Miami Herald (March 14, 2026)

The 2026 resale was a later transaction, not a revision of the 2022 listing or the 2023 sale. The home is no longer the property described by a current $29 million asking price.
