How did Emma Roberts make a Los Angeles home feel personal?
In a separate Architectural Digest home feature, Roberts described her residence as a comforting retreat: “The home is like a womb,” she said, explaining that it was a place where she could feel protected and happy. She also said, “Every house I’ve ever lived in feels a little bit like a cabinet of curiosities.” The feature presents a home shaped by personal collections, books and art rather than a uniform showroom look.
Collected furnishings and personal touches
The feature describes creamy ivory walls, repurposed furniture and existing artwork, along with Roberts’s book and doll collections. In the child’s room, flying-duck wallpaper adds a distinctive pattern. The designers, Louisa Pierce and Emily Ward of Pierce & Ward, aimed for a lived-in effect. “We want a house to look like it’s been there for 50 years,” Pierce said. “We never want a home to look new.”

Bookshelves and a kitchen island
Roberts appreciated the home’s built-in shelves because, as she put it, “I can put all my books there.” The feature also highlights a kitchen island the designers sourced ready-made from Urban Outfitters. Roberts said it “completely changed how we live in the kitchen,” making cooking and sitting easier. Pierce and Ward later told her it was ready-made; Roberts recalled their reaction as, “High-low, baby!”
These interior details and remarks are documented in Architectural Digest’s home feature. It does not establish that the featured residence is the Minnie Driver property from the 2022 purchase report, so the two should not be treated as a confirmed match.

Did Emma Roberts sell her Hollywood Hills home?
Realtor.com reported in 2025 that Roberts had purchased a Hollywood Hills “grown-up dollhouse” for $3.63 million in 2021, listed it for $5 million in May 2025 and sold it for a reported $4.82 million in June 2025. Those figures describe the home in that coverage, not a confirmed resale of the Minnie Driver property. The sources reviewed do not establish whether the 2021 purchase and the 2022-reported purchase refer to the same house, or confirm Roberts’s current ownership of either property. Realtor.com’s 2025 coverage provides the later listing and sale reporting.
