Brad Pitt’s real estate holdings have been estimated at more than $100 million, but that figure is not a verified current appraisal. Celebrity Net Worth published the estimate in 2019 without a full property list, valuation date, or transparent methodology. Reporting documents purchases and sales across several years, but it does not establish a definitive inventory of what Pitt owns today.
How much is Brad Pitt’s real estate portfolio worth?
The often-repeated “over $100 million” figure is an attributed cumulative estimate from Celebrity Net Worth, published in 2019. It should not be read as a current appraisal: the estimate is not accompanied by a dated schedule of properties or a disclosed valuation method.
Reported transaction prices offer useful context, but they do not add up to a reliable present-day portfolio value. Some figures are old purchase prices, others are sale prices, and some properties may no longer belong to Pitt. The reported $60 million figure for Château Miraval, for example, is an estimate of its 2008 acquisition price—not a current valuation.
Which properties are reported as current holdings?
Available reporting identifies a small number of properties as possible or reported holdings, but it does not confirm a complete current list. The most recent reported acquisition is a Hollywood Hills home bought in 2025. Earlier accounts said Pitt appeared to retain a Los Feliz design home and a Goleta-area retreat at the time those articles were published; current ownership of those homes has not been established here.

Hollywood Hills Spanish-style estate
In 2025, Realtor.com reported that Pitt bought a Spanish-style estate in the Outpost Estates area for about $12 million. The report described an approximately 8,385-square-foot house with six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a pool, gardens, and privacy features. Pitt’s representatives declined to comment, so the purchase and price are attributable to that reporting rather than a public statement from Pitt.
Hollywood Hills modernist home
Architectural Digest reports that Pitt enlisted the German firm Graft to build a modernist stone-and-glass home in 1998 and took on the interior design himself. The article said he appeared to still own it when it was published, but that does not establish ownership as of October 2026. In a remark about designing the home, Pitt told Flaunt, as quoted by Architectural Digest: “I learned that you have to let go of a lot of great ideas for the sake of harmony.”

Goleta-area retreat
Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reportedly bought an 11-acre oceanfront vacation property near Santa Barbara in 2000 for $4 million. Architectural Digest described the property as still in Pitt’s possession at the time of publication; Realtor.com described the estate as 11.5 acres. Those accounts do not confirm current ownership.
Château Miraval in France
Miraval is a large estate and winery associated with Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Realtor.com describes it as a 1,200-acre property acquired in 2008 for an estimated $60 million, with a château, vineyards, winery, and other facilities. Reporting describes litigation connected to Jolie’s sale of her stake and says Pitt remained involved with the brand; Realtor.com has also characterized the estate as co-owned and subject to ongoing litigation. The ownership context is disputed, so Miraval should not be presented as an uncontested, solely owned Pitt property.

Notable former homes and reported transactions
Pitt’s property history includes high-profile homes that reporting identifies as sold or no longer associated with him. The prices below are reported historical transactions, not estimates of what the properties are worth now.
| Property | Reported history | Status in available reporting |
|---|---|---|
| Los Feliz compound, California | Pitt reportedly bought the original home in 1994 for $1.7 million and acquired adjoining properties over time. The roughly 1.9-acre compound included a 6,692-square-foot Craftsman main house, a pool, tennis pavilion, and skate park. It was listed for $40 million in early 2023 and reportedly sold two months later for $33 million to Aileen Getty. | Former holding; sale reported in 2023. |
| Steel House, Los Feliz, California | Pitt reportedly bought the mid-century home from Aileen Getty in 2023 for $5.5 million. Architectural Digest later reported that Austin Butler bought it for $5.2 million. In its June 2025 burglary report, the Associated Press said police could not identify who owned or lived in the property at that time. | No longer a reported Pitt holding; later sale reported to Butler. |
| D.L. James House, Carmel Highlands, California | Pitt reportedly bought the house in 2022 for $40 million. Built in 1918, it uses locally sourced granite and sandstone on a coastal bluff. Architectural Digest attributes the design to Greene and Greene and puts the home at about 3,000 square feet. | Purchase reported in 2022; the price is a transaction figure, not a current valuation. |
| Malibu, California | Pitt reportedly bought a mid-century modern home in 2005 for $8.4 million, renovated it, and listed it in 2009. Realtor.com reports that Ellen DeGeneres bought it in 2011 for $12 million. | Former holding. |
| New Orleans, Louisiana | Pitt and Jolie reportedly bought a French Quarter home in 2006 for $3.5 million and sold it in 2016 for $4.9 million. The home was associated with their post-Hurricane Katrina activity in the city. | Former holding. |
| Beverly Hills, California | Pitt and Aniston’s former residence was a Wallace Neff-designed French Normandy Revival home built in 1934. Architectural Digest reports that they sold it after their 2005 separation; Realtor.com reports a subsequent sale in 2020. | Former residence; the later sale was reported in 2020. |
| Mallorca, Spain | Architectural Digest reports that Pitt and Jolie reportedly paid $3.9 million for a villa in 2016. | Whether Pitt still owned it was unclear in that account. |
| Waldorf Astoria residence, New York | Architectural Digest reports that Pitt and Jolie bought a residence there in 2007. | Price and present ownership were unclear in that account. |
Why a property timeline matters more than a headline total
A celebrity portfolio can change as homes are sold, acquired, or held through arrangements not detailed in public reporting. Here, the known figures describe different events over decades: purchase prices, listing prices, reported sale prices, and estimates. They cannot be combined to calculate a current net worth or a verified portfolio total.

- F1 THE MOVIE
The evidence supports a history of reported properties in California, France, New Orleans, Mallorca, and New York—not a claim that Pitt owns every home mentioned. Architectural Digest’s overview and Realtor.com’s dated reports provide transaction and property details, while the Associated Press’s June 2025 account illustrates why a home’s connection to Pitt should not be inferred from an address alone.
