India Affiliate Summit 2022 was most useful, in Kripesh Adwani’s account, as a place to meet potential business partners—not as a guaranteed source of income or a beginner’s shortcut into affiliate marketing. He describes two days of exhibitor conversations, networking, interviews, food, and stage sessions. The main caution: attendees without an established audience, campaign results, or a clear business proposition may have less to offer in those conversations.
This is a retrospective of the September 2022 event, not a guide to current dates, tickets, exhibitors, or arrangements.
What was India Affiliate Summit 2022?
India Affiliate Summit (IAS) was a two-day event centered on affiliate marketing and the wider digital-advertising ecosystem. Adwani described it as a major Indian affiliate-marketing gathering and wrote that it began in 2015; that history is his account, not an independently verified event record. His review was published on October 5, 2022, shortly after the edition he attended.
The event brought together different kinds of businesses whose interests overlap but are not interchangeable:
#1 Best Overall
- Affiliate networks connect advertisers’ offers with publishers and affiliates who promote them.
- Advertisers and brands seek customers through performance-based campaigns and other marketing channels.
- Publishers and affiliates use websites, email, social platforms, or other audiences to refer potential customers.
- Ad-tech and media-buying companies help advertisers buy traffic or help publishers monetize it.
- Creators and digital entrepreneurs may bring audiences, content, products, or services that can support commercial partnerships.
IAS 2022 took place on September 14–15 at The Leela Ambience Hotel in Gurugram, India, according to Adwani’s event review. Those are historical details for that edition; they do not establish where or when any later event took place.
What the attendee experience was like
Arrival and registration
Adwani says attendees collected passes from booths in the entry hall. He recalls a crowded, energetic arrival and describes the venue favorably. These are his impressions of his own visit, not an independent assessment of crowd management or venue quality.
Affiliate Street and exhibitor conversations
Affiliate Street was the exhibition area where attendees could meet marketing, advertising, and affiliate companies. Adwani names VCommission, Taboola, Xapads, and MGID among the exhibitors, and reported more than 40 companies overall. The exhibitor count is his figure, not an independently confirmed total.
He describes conversations about offers, deals, and coupon codes, with the possibility of negotiating exclusive arrangements. That possibility should not be mistaken for a promised benefit: a booth conversation does not establish that an offer is available to every attendee, exclusive, suitable for a particular audience, or profitable.

Networking
Networking was the strongest part of the event in Adwani’s account. He met affiliate and advertising professionals, reconnected with people from earlier industry events, and spoke with marketers, founders, creators, and agency leaders. He names Ankit Singla, Amit Mishra, Yulia Aslamova, Rajesh Chauhan, and Swayam Dhawan among people he encountered. These names reflect his account; they are not a verified roster of official speakers.
For an active publisher or advertiser, the useful outcome of a conversation may be a qualified contact or a follow-up meeting rather than an immediate deal. The event report does not quantify revenue, partnerships secured, or return on the cost of attending.
Interviews and creator conversations
Adwani says he interviewed Satish Kushwaha about his growth and success, discussed micro-niche websites and ranking with Om Thoke, and spoke with Ankit Singla about finding keywords for free. He also recorded short interviews with Swayam Dhawan and Lovish Madaan. The review indicated that some interviews would be released later; it does not establish that every planned interview was ultimately published.
Rank #3
Stage sessions
Adwani describes a main stage for invited speakers’ presentations on marketing and advertising topics, plus a second stage for panel discussions. The available account does not provide a complete agenda, session titles, or enough detail to judge the technical depth or originality of each presentation.

In his experience, tea and coffee, including cappuccino, espresso, and café latte, were available with biscuits. He also reported an optional lunch included with his pass, mostly continental food, and two food-counter areas intended to reduce crowding. These are attendee-reported arrangements for his pass and the 2022 edition; they should not be generalized to every ticket or later event.
VCommission after-party
Adwani reports that VCommission organized an after-party after the main event activities. He viewed it as another chance to meet people informally and build relationships. His account does not establish whether the party was included with every ticket, limited to particular attendees, or invitation-only.
Adwani’s event video follows the same broad sequence—entry, Affiliate Street, networking, food, interviews, stage activities, and the after-party. It is a visual companion to his written account, not an independent attendee account.
What value could an affiliate conference provide?
Networking and commercial conversations
Meeting potential affiliates, advertisers, agencies, and networks face to face can make it easier to explain a business, ask follow-up questions, and assess whether there is a reason to continue the conversation. Exhibitors may discuss campaigns, offers, or coupon codes, but presence at an event is not proof of vendor quality or a guarantee of earnings.
Learning and industry visibility
Presentations and panels can expose attendees to marketing and advertising ideas, while the exhibition floor can make companies and professional contacts more accessible than they are online. Adwani’s account supports those as potential benefits, but it does not give enough session-by-session evidence to rate the event as a source of advanced instruction.
Best Value
For people evaluating a comparable event, its value depends on more than the program: the relevance of attendees, the ability to follow up, and the cost of travel and time away from work all matter. A lively conference can be motivating without producing measurable returns.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Who was likely to benefit most—and who might not?
- Established affiliates and publishers: Potentially well placed to discuss partner fit, traffic sources, audience geography, and campaign terms.
- Advertisers and brands: Could use meetings to explore distribution and performance-marketing relationships.
- Agencies and media buyers: May find relevant contacts among networks, ad-tech companies, and traffic providers.
- Creators and bloggers: May benefit if they already have an audience, traffic, or a specific commercial objective to discuss.
- Absolute beginners: May find the event useful for exposure, but Adwani cautions that people without concrete results could get less value. Without a portfolio, audience figures, campaign experience, or a clear proposition, it can be harder to turn introductions into useful business opportunities.
Fit also depends on geography and business model. A publisher focused on a narrow or regulated niche may find that many offers do not suit its audience, while an advertiser may get more from pre-arranged meetings than from unplanned floor conversations. The review does not establish which exhibitors or offers would be appropriate for any reader today.
How to prepare for a similar event
The following is practical guidance for evaluating a comparable conference, not a description of IAS 2022 rules or services.

- Set a specific goal. Decide whether you are seeking publisher partnerships, advertisers, traffic sources, education, or professional contacts. A focused goal helps you choose which conversations merit time.
- Prepare a concise introduction. Be ready to explain your business or publishing niche, audience, traffic sources, and what kind of partnership you are looking for. A media kit or one-page company profile can make details easier to share.
- Know your numbers. Have relevant audience geography, traffic, conversion, or campaign results available, and be clear about what they measure. Share only information you are comfortable disclosing.
- Make contact details easy to exchange. A QR code or digital contact card can save time, but add context so a new contact remembers who you are and what you discussed.
- Qualify offers before agreeing to anything. Ask which verticals and geographies are supported, what traffic sources are allowed, how attribution and reporting work, what payment terms apply, whether there are compliance restrictions, and whether an offer is exclusive or publicly available.
- Evaluate vendors independently. Check tracking, payment reliability, terms, compliance requirements, and the economics for your audience before committing. A conference introduction is not a substitute for due diligence.
- Follow up promptly. Send a short message referring to the conversation and proposing a clear next step. A contact has limited value if it is never qualified or followed up.
- Calculate the full cost. Consider the ticket, travel, accommodation, meals outside the event, and work time you will miss. Complimentary hospitality, if offered, does not by itself make a trip worthwhile.
What this retrospective can—and cannot—establish
Adwani’s review and video provide a firsthand account of the 2022 event’s flow and his experience. They do not establish attendance figures, a complete speaker or exhibitor roster, ticket prices or pass categories, accessibility arrangements, travel logistics, Wi-Fi quality, event policies, or a quantified return on investment. Nor do they establish current ticket availability, active-event status, or arrangements for any later edition.
For company names mentioned in the event account, official websites can help readers identify the organizations, but their appearance at IAS 2022 is not an endorsement or a statement of current terms: VCommission, Taboola, Xapads, and MGID.
Was India Affiliate Summit 2022 worth attending?
For Adwani, IAS 2022 offered a full mix of networking, exhibitor access, interviews, stage sessions, and informal conversations. His account makes the strongest case for attending if you already work in affiliate marketing, advertising, publishing, or digital media and can use direct meetings to pursue specific opportunities. It is less persuasive as a recommendation for a beginner expecting quick income or guaranteed access to profitable offers. The event was held in 2022, so readers considering a similar conference should assess its current agenda, audience, costs, and terms separately.
