Immediate Edge Canada is not a verified, regulator-approved trading service. On June 27, 2024, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) warned that Immediate Edge Canada, at immediateedge.ca, was not registered in Ontario to trade securities. Regulators in Québec, Alberta and British Columbia have also published warnings about Immediate Edge. Separately, doctored videos falsely depicting Pierre Poilievre endorsing other investment schemes have been fact-checked; the sources cited here do not establish that he endorsed Immediate Edge.
Is Immediate Edge Canada legitimate?
The strongest documented concern is regulatory status. The OSC’s June 27, 2024 alert names Immediate Edge Canada and immediateedge.ca, stating that the service was not registered in Ontario to engage in securities trading. The alert also lists the names “Immediate Connect Canada,” “Immediate Momentum Canada,” “Bitcodeprime Canada,” “Bitcoinup Canada,” and “Quatumpro360 Canada.” The last spelling is reproduced as it appears in the alert.
This is a reason to avoid sending money or personal information unless you have independently verified the exact business and service. An unregistered warning is not the same thing as a court judgment or criminal conviction, and it does not prove that every site using a similar name is operated by the same people. It does establish what the regulator says about the named entity, activity and jurisdiction.
What Canadian regulators have said
Warnings are jurisdiction-specific. They do not automatically determine the legal status of a business everywhere in Canada, nor do they establish that every domain with a similar name is connected. The published notices include:

The UK Financial Conduct Authority separately says the firm named in its warning is not authorised by it and advises consumers to avoid dealing with it. That is a UK finding, not a determination of Canadian registration status. FCA warning
Did Pierre Poilievre endorse Immediate Edge?
The evidence cited here does not substantiate an Immediate Edge endorsement by Poilievre. It does document false endorsements for other investment schemes, so an ad or video using his image should not be treated as proof of a connection to Immediate Edge.

Lead Stories reported on October 6, 2023 that a doctored video made Poilievre appear to endorse Quantum AI. The underlying video was a March 2023 interview and did not mention that platform. Lead Stories fact-check
AFP reported on October 4, 2023, with an update on April 29, 2024, that an altered clip circulated with claims about a crypto investment opportunity. The original March 2023 interview concerned Canadian politics, not an investment. AFP quoted CHCH News Director Greg O’Brien: “This is 100 percent not the interview, which was of course about Canadian politics.” AFP fact-check

- BUILT FOR YOUR MARKET, FUTURES, STOCKS, FOREX, OPTIONS & CRYPTO: 4X is a mindset and process journal, not a strategy tool tied to one instrument. The plan, the trade log, the deep dive and the weekly review work the same whether you trade ES, EURUSD, SPY or BTC. Traders use it across all five markets every day.
- THE 2026 EDITION, REBUILT FROM TRADER FEEDBACK: Same trusted system, better in every way. An extra daily page for more room to log the session. The Competition Bureau also warns that scam sites may use fake celebrity or regulator endorsements, fake reviews and fake videos. CSA guidance · Competition Bureau guidance
How to check a trading offer before you act
- Identify the exact business. Record the legal entity name, website domain and the specific service being offered. Similar names or a familiar-looking logo are not proof that two services are the same.
- Check the relevant regulator’s notice. Compare the exact name and domain against the warning for your province or territory. Ontario’s June 2024 alert specifically names immediateedge.ca; Québec and Alberta list other domains in their own notices.
- Search the official registration records. The CSA says investment firms need provincial or territorial registration as dealers or advisers to open trading accounts or recommend investments. Use its registration search and compare the legal name and service, not just a brand name. Registration requirements depend on the activity and jurisdiction.
- Verify endorsement media at its source. Look for the original interview or post from a credible publisher and check whether it actually contains the investment claim. A clipped, dubbed or altered video is not reliable evidence of an endorsement.
- Do not proceed while key details remain unverified. Do not send funds, identity documents or account credentials based only on an advertisement, review page, social-media video or claimed celebrity endorsement.
What the warnings do—and do not—establish
The regulator notices establish that the named service was not registered or authorized for specified activities in the named jurisdictions at the time of the notices. They are important safety signals, but they are not proof of a criminal conviction, a specific investor loss, or a finding about every similarly named website. The fact-checks establish that Poilievre videos promoting other schemes were doctored; they do not establish an Immediate Edge endorsement.
No platform-specific published figure for Immediate Edge users’ losses or trading performance is established by these sources. Treat performance claims, testimonials and endorsements as unverified unless they can be independently confirmed.
