Immediate Bitwave is not a platform to trust with your money: financial regulators in Québec, Austria and Belgium have issued warnings identifying it as unauthorized or listing it among fraudulent trading platforms. The warnings do not prove every detail of an individual contact, but they are strong reasons not to deposit funds or share access to your computer.

Is Immediate Bitwave legitimate?

Regulators have flagged Immediate Bitwave in multiple jurisdictions. On February 13, 2024, Québec’s Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) said: “Immediate Bitwave is not registered with the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and is not authorized to solicit investors in Québec.” The Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) warned on November 18, 2023 that the provider “is not authorised to carry out banking transactions in Austria that require a licence.” Belgium’s Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA), in a March 14, 2024 warning about new trading platforms, advised against responding to offers from platforms including Immediate Bitwave.

These notices concern authorization and risk; they are not audited assessments of investment performance. The cited regulator material provides no verified customer-return statistics, audited performance record, or validated trading algorithm. A polished website or claim of artificial-intelligence trading does not establish that a firm is licensed or profitable.

Which Immediate Bitwave websites have regulators named?

Regulator notices identify the following associated domains: immediatebitwave.com, immediatebitwave.org, immediate-bitwave.com and immediate-bitcoin.com. A domain name alone does not establish who operates a site, and domain status or warning-list entries can change. Check the relevant regulator’s current register and warning notices before engaging with any firm claiming to be Immediate Bitwave.

How the reported approach works

The FSMA describes a pattern used by fraudulent trading platforms: an online or mobile-app advertisement gathers contact details, a representative calls quickly with an investment proposal, and the person is pressed to make increasingly large deposits. The contact may then seek remote access to the person’s computer and promise repayment after one last transfer. These are reported warning signs, not proof that every caller or website uses every tactic.

A Le Monde investigation connected Immediate Bitwave with affiliate networks promoting fake investment offers. It reported a typical initial deposit of €250 and affiliate acquisition prices of $850–$1,000 per French victim. Those figures describe the reported scam ecosystem; they are not evidence of a legitimate minimum deposit, an expected return, or a typical customer outcome. Le Monde also reported a Ukrainian enforcement operation dismantling 100 call centers in one day on December 30 as part of a wider investigation; that figure does not mean 100 Immediate Bitwave call centers were dismantled.

What to do if Immediate Bitwave contacts you or you have paid

If you have not sent money

  • Do not deposit, disclose banking details, share passwords, or install software that gives a caller remote access to your device.
  • Do not pay a purported final tax, release, or verification fee to unlock funds. A demand for another transfer is a further warning sign.
  • Verify the legal entity, registered office and authorization directly in the regulator register for your jurisdiction. Use independently sourced contact details rather than phone numbers or links supplied by the caller.

If you already sent money or credentials

  1. Stop further payments and contact your bank or card issuer promptly. Explain that the payment may be connected to an unauthorized investment platform and ask what steps are available.
  2. Preserve evidence: screenshots, receipts, emails, phone numbers, account details and chat logs.
  3. Report the contact and suspected loss to the relevant financial regulator and police.
  4. If you granted remote computer access, disconnect the session, remove remote-access software you do not recognize, and change passwords from a separate, trusted device. Contact your bank about securing accounts that may have been exposed.

Recovery is uncertain. The FSMA warns that victims may be unable to recover funds because illegal providers are often located abroad. Promptly notifying your bank and authorities is still important, but no recovery can be guaranteed.

How to assess a trading platform instead

Before entrusting money to any investment provider, check these points independently:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Authorization: Is the exact legal entity listed in the relevant regulator’s register for the services it offers?
  • Identity: Can you verify its legal name, registered office and independent contact details?
  • Custody and withdrawals: Are the rules for holding funds and withdrawing them clear and available before you pay?
  • Sales conduct: Is the offer free of unsolicited high-pressure calls, escalating deposit demands and requests for remote access?

Do not treat a similar name, a convincing dashboard, claimed AI, or a caller’s assurances as a substitute for a register entry. Immediate Bitwave’s regulator warnings make independent verification especially important.
