What happened to the “last date to apply” notice?
The headline referred to IDBI Bank Advertisement No. 3/2025-26, dated May 7, 2025. It invited applications for 676 provisional JAM Grade ‘O’ vacancies. Registration, application edits and fee payment were scheduled for May 8–20, 2025; those dates have passed.

IDBI’s 2025–26 detailed advertisement listed June 8, 2025 as the tentative online-test date, with any schedule changes to be announced on the bank’s Careers section.
Is the 2025–26 JAM recruitment still open?
No. In a notification dated April 15, 2026, IDBI Bank stated that “the said recruitment process now stands closed and all applicants are advised to kindly take a note of the same.” The notice was issued from Mumbai and signed by the Chief General Manager, Human Resource Department. It confirms closure of this process; it does not provide a new application window.

How many vacancies were advertised?
The advertisement announced 676 provisional vacancies. IDBI noted that the number could be modified or vacancies cancelled.

For a current application opportunity, start at IDBI Bank’s Current Openings page and open the detailed notice for the specific recruitment cycle. Check the notice date and cycle, role and grade, eligibility cut-off, application dates, vacancy and category details, and any schedule updates before acting. Do not assume the old JAM notice or its application link is still valid.
IDBI’s careers FAQ says eligibility criteria are set out in the relevant vacancy notice. The bank also warns that it has not appointed agencies or individuals to recruit on its behalf or collect money or commissions for training. Use the bank’s official notices and be wary of anyone asking for payment to secure recruitment or training.
