- ICAI Examinations – May/June 2023: session information and official admit-card instructions.
- ICAI e-services portal: the portal named in those instructions for downloading a card.
The links concern the May 2023 session; they are not evidence that a 2023 admit card can still be retrieved now.
How the official instructions said to download a card
- Visit eservices.icai.org.
- Select the link for the applicable course: Intermediate May 2023 or Final May 2023.
- Enter your registration number and date of birth, as specified in ICAI’s official admit-card instructions PDF.
- Read and accept the instructions, then download the admit card.
A contemporaneous Hindustan Times report described the second credential as a password, but ICAI’s instructions specify date of birth; follow the official document. Do not share your registration details or credentials with a third party.

Release date and session context
Contemporaneous coverage reported the May 2023 CA Intermediate and Final admit-card release on 17 April 2023. The date and direct route apply to that session only, not to a later ICAI exam cycle. ICAI’s May/June 2023 important dates page is also a session-specific reference.

ICAI’s Examination Department announced on 1 April 2023 that Intermediate Group I Paper 4 (Taxation) in Karnataka, originally set for 10 May, would instead be held on 20 May 2023, from 2 PM to 5 PM, at the same examination centres. ICAI said previously issued admit cards remained valid for the revised date and that other cities and dates were unchanged. This was a Karnataka-specific exception, not a change for all candidates.
