The Huawei Y6 covered here is the 2017 model, not the later Y6 2018 or Y6 Prime 2019. It is discontinued in Pakistan, and the available listings do not establish a dependable current price for this exact handset. If you are considering a used unit, confirm its model code, condition and seller’s current asking price before comparing it with newer Y6-branded phones.
Huawei Y6 price in Pakistan: what buyers can verify
WhatMobile currently marks its original Huawei Y6 page as “Discontinued.” It says its price information is gathered from local shops and dealers and advises buyers to check locally because prices may vary or be inaccurate. That is not a confirmed current retail price. Historical comments and individual used-phone offers on the page are anecdotal, so they should not be treated as a current market survey. WhatMobile’s Huawei Y6 page is useful for checking its status, but it does not establish what a specific used phone should cost today.
TechJuice’s matching page identifies a phone announced in May 2017 and released in July 2017, and marks it discontinued. Its listed model codes include MYA-AL10, MYA-TL10, MYA-L03/L23, MYA-L02/L22, MYA-L11 and MYA-L41. Check the code on the handset or its documentation when assessing compatibility; regional variants can differ. TechJuice’s Huawei Y6 page is the title-matched source for this 2017 model.

Do not confuse it with later Huawei Y6 phones
Huawei reused the Y6 name for distinct phones. A similar name does not make a later model’s price or specifications applicable to the 2017 handset.
| Model | How it differs | Pakistan price status in cited sources |
|---|---|---|
| Huawei Y6 (2017) | 5.0-inch 720 × 1280 display, 2 GB RAM / 16 GB storage, MediaTek MT6737T and 3000 mAh battery. TechJuice | Discontinued; no dependable current price established. WhatMobile |
| Huawei Y6 (2018) | WhatMobile’s specification table lists a 5.7-inch 720 × 1440 display, 2 GB / 16 GB, Snapdragon 425 and 3000 mAh battery. Its page prose conflicts by mentioning Snapdragon 450, so the chipset is not consistent within that source. WhatMobile | Marked discontinued by WhatMobile. |
| Huawei Y6 Prime 2019 | Huawei Pakistan lists a 6.09-inch HD+ display, 2 + 32 GB expandable storage, 3020 mAh typical battery, EMUI 9.0 with Android 9.0 Pie, an 8 MP selfie camera and 13 MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. Huawei says microSD is sold separately and capacity is expandable up to 512 GB. Huawei Pakistan | WhatMobile lists Rs. 18,999 for the Y6 Prime 2019, not the 2017 phone; its local-price caveat applies. ProPakistani also lists Rs. 18,999 for Huawei Y6 2019, a later model. What the online reviews do—and do not—tell you
WhatMobile displays 4.4 stars from 861 user reviews on its original Y6 page. That is the page’s user-review aggregate, not an independent test or representative survey. The Y6 Prime 2019 page separately displays 4.5 stars from 133 user reviews; that rating belongs to the later model and should not be combined with the 2017 phone’s rating. User comments about sale prices or damaged screens can flag issues to ask about, but do not establish typical resale values or repair rates.

What to check before buying a used Huawei Y6
Because the phone is discontinued and listings may use “Y6” loosely, evaluate the particular handset and transaction rather than relying on a model-family price.

- Match the model code to the generation and variant. Do not assume a listing for a 2018 or 2019 Y6 is the 2017 phone.
- Ask the seller for a current, locally verifiable price and compare units in similar working condition; old user comments are not a price guide.
- Test the screen and touch response, cameras, flash, charging port, headphone jack, buttons, speaker and microphone.
- Ask whether the battery has been replaced and check its practical condition; the listed 3000 mAh capacity is a specification, not evidence of the health of an aged battery.
- Confirm the installed storage, RAM, included accessories and network compatibility for your carrier and region.
- For repair parts or accessories, confirm exact model compatibility with the seller before paying. No specific replacement part or accessory is established here as compatible with every listed variant.
