What posts did HPSC advertise?
Haryana Public Service Commission’s Advertisement No. 19/2025, published on 8 August 2025, invited applications for 153 Civil Engineering posts across three Haryana departments. The Commission’s advertisement set out these post totals:

The vacancy notice also allocated posts across Haryana reservation categories and included horizontal allocations for ex-servicemen and persons with benchmark disabilities. It cautioned that vacancy numbers could change. The figures above are the clear advertised totals; they do not establish that any one role was easier to secure than another.

Can you still apply, and what happened to the exam date?
No. Applications opened on 12 August 2025 and closed on 1 September 2025 at 5:00 PM. The fee-payment deadline was the same. The application period for this advertisement has ended.
A Jagran Josh report updated on 15 May 2026 said the exam date for AE, Municipal Engineer and SDE posts under this advertisement had been revised to 14 June 2026, with the revised date announced on 14 May. That date has passed. The date is reported by a secondary source; check HPSC directly for any subsequent notice, result or selection update rather than assuming the recruitment’s current status.

What were the eligibility requirements?
Education and language
The degree and language requirements depended on the post. The AE notice required a regular Civil Engineering degree and expressly excluded part-time, evening-class and distance-education degrees, as well as degrees from a university not approved by AICTE. Municipal Engineer applicants needed a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent from a recognized university or institution; SDE applicants needed a Civil Engineering degree from a recognized university or institute. Both Municipal Engineer and SDE applicants also needed Hindi or Sanskrit through matriculation or higher education.

Age and supporting documents
The stated age range was 18 to 42 years on or before 1 September 2025, subject to service rules and applicable relaxations. The advertisement listed relaxations for specified Haryana categories and other groups; the conditions differ, so the full notice is necessary to determine whether a particular applicant qualified.

The notice required applicants to complete the application online and upload a signed copy. It said an application without the duly signed uploaded copy was incomplete and liable to rejection. The advertisement also warned that submitted details generally could not be changed afterward.

- Print the submitted form, check it and sign it.
- Upload the signed copy. The notice treated the application as incomplete without this upload.
