What the HPSC AMO notification announced
The advertisement, dated 20 June 2024 and published on 21 June, invited eligible candidates to apply online for Ayurvedic Medical Officer (Group-B) positions in Haryana’s Health & Ayush Department. It listed 805 vacancies and stated the pay as “FPL- 8 (Initial Pay 47600) As per 7th pay Commission.” That is the pay framing in the 2024 advertisement, not confirmation of current salary conditions.

The advertisement also gave reservation figures for ex-servicemen (ESM) and persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD). Those are reservation subcategories and should not be added to the five category totals above as if all figures were mutually exclusive. HPSC said the category-wise vacancy numbers were liable to variation.

The 2024 application period has ended. The notice described an online sequence: register, complete a profile, apply for the advertisement, pay the required fee, then download, sign and upload the completed application. It said an application was complete only after the signed downloaded form had been uploaded. Candidates were responsible for checking that they met the eligibility requirements; initial admission to the process was provisional.

Minimum eligibility in the 2024 advertisement
- A degree in the Ayurvedic System of Medicine recognized by the government.
- Hindi through the Matric standard.
- Registration with the Haryana Ayurvedic/Unani system board identified in the advertisement.
Meeting the minimum qualifications did not guarantee an interview. The notice reserved HPSC’s ability, if applications were numerous, to shortlist candidates using criteria such as marks in qualifications, higher qualifications, experience or a recruitment test.
Screening test and answer-key objections
HPSC held the screening test on 23 September 2024. In an announcement dated 25 September, the commission said it had uploaded the standard question booklet and answer key to invite objections about potentially wrong questions or answers. The objection window ran from 26 to 28 September 2024, and the stated fee was ₹250 for each objection. These dates and fee relate to the 2024 test process, not an open application or objection period.

What is known about the result
The verified official documents establish the original advertisement and the 2024 screening-test objection process, but do not establish the current final selection or appointment status. A September 2026 search-indexed item refers to an “HPSC AMO Result-IV” dated 10 September 2026 and says it superseded earlier results; without the underlying official result notice, that reference is not enough to confirm who was selected or appointed.
