The original notice listed Pay Band Level 3, ₹20,200–₹64,000. Applications were to be submitted through HPPSC’s Online Recruitment Application (ORA) process; the notice said applications sent by any other mode would be rejected.
Application deadline and extension
The original deadline for submitting the application and examination fee was 31 October 2024 at 11:59 p.m. In a press note dated 1 November 2024, HPPSC said the deadline had been extended because candidates reported technical errors. The revised deadline was 12 November 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (midnight). The application window is now closed.

Eligibility and documents in the notices
The notices directed candidates to meet the relevant eligibility requirements as of the prescribed closing date and upload supporting documents before the deadline. They listed proof of essential qualifications, a matriculation certificate as age proof, applicable category certificates, and a Himachal Pradesh bonafide certificate.

In a press note dated 3 June 2025, HPPSC scheduled the Objective Type Screening Test for the male and female specialized-duty constable posts for 15 June 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. That test date has passed. The Commission said provisionally admitted candidates could access e-admit cards and candidate instructions on its website and would be notified by SMS or email using the contact details in their applications.
