The link above opens HPPSC’s press note for the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Service Main Examination 2023. The notice says the result was also available on the Commission’s official website. It is an archived notice, so if the PDF no longer opens, use HPPSC’s official website to locate the result rather than relying on a third-party repost.
What the result announces
The mains examination was held from 18 to 22 September 2023, and HPPSC declared the result on 10 November 2023. Its press note states: “25 candidates with Roll Numbers, as given below, have been declared qualified for the Personality Test (Viva-Voce).” The notice lists roll numbers, not candidate names.
The 25 candidates were shortlisted for the next stage; the list is not a final selection or appointment list. Their candidature was provisional, subject to eligibility, and the result was subject to the final outcome of SLP (Civil) 13150/2023. The notice also says HPPSC could rectify inadvertent or technical errors. The later disposition of the court matter is not established here.

How to check your roll number
- Open the official HPPSC result press note.
- Use the PDF viewer’s search function to find your roll number, or scan the listed roll numbers manually.
- Check that you are reading the mains result notice dated 10 November 2023, not a preliminary result or a later recruitment update.
- For interview schedule, attestation form, call letter and instructions, follow HPPSC’s official website. The press note printed phone numbers 0177-2624313 and 1800-180-8004 for candidates unable to download those documents; these are contact details from the 2023 notice, not confirmed current numbers.
Why reports may show different candidate counts
HPPSC’s 2023–24 annual-report extract gives figures for different stages of the recruitment. It records 350 candidates qualified for the mains, 314 appearing in all mains papers, 25 qualifying in the mains, 17 Civil Judge vacancies advertised, and eight candidates recommended on 5 December 2023. The eight recommendations are a later recruitment outcome and should not be confused with the 25-person viva voce shortlist. These figures come from an annual-report search extract; the report PDF could not be directly retrieved to verify its table.

Use the Commission’s notice as the primary record and contact HPPSC through its official website if your roll number or document details appear inconsistent. A copied or reposted list should not override the official press note.
