The HPPSC HPAS Main Examination 2024 application window is closed. Candidates who qualified in the preliminary examination had to apply afresh for the Main exam. HPPSC first set 16 August 2024 as the deadline, then reopened the link and extended the final deadline to 27 August 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
Where was the HPAS Main 2024 application form?
HPPSC’s candidate instructions identified the online recruitment portal as the HPPSC Applicant Registration portal. That is the portal named in the historical instructions; its address is not evidence that the 2024 form is still available.
For a current recruitment cycle, check HPPSC’s official website and its latest notices and Apply Online links. Do not rely on the 2024 dates or assume an old application link accepts submissions.
What was the last date to apply for HPAS Main 2024?
The original notice said the application link would be activated by 27 July 2024 and set 16 August 2024 as the initial closing date. A later HPPSC press note, dated 23 August 2024, reopened the link and allowed candidates who had not applied or had not submitted the fee to complete both steps by 27 August 2024 at 11:59 p.m. HPPSC said the link would be disabled after that deadline.

The reopening notice stated: “The candidates who have not applied and have not submitted their fee are advised to submit Online Recruitment Application alongwith requisite fee upto 27-08-2024 (11:59) Midnight, thereafter the link will be disabled.”
Who had to apply afresh?
Candidates who qualified in the HPAS preliminary examination were required to submit a fresh application for the Main examination. Qualifying in the preliminary exam did not, by itself, complete Main-exam registration.

What happened after the application window closed?
HPPSC’s official notice index lists the HPAS Main Examination 2024 result dated 10 December 2024. The registration period is therefore part of a completed recruitment cycle, not a current application opportunity.

The exact fee table, application fields and document checklist are not reproduced here because they could not be verified from the official instruction PDF.
