HPPSC published provisional screening-test shortlists for male and female constable candidates on 2 August 2025, but those PDFs are not the final results. The Commission’s notices index later listed revised final-result notices for both categories on 9 December 2025. For the current result, open the latest male or female notice from the official HPPSC notices and press notes index.
Which HP Police Constable result should you check?
Use the latest notice listed by HPPSC for your category. The August 2025 PDFs are screening-stage shortlists for document verification, not final appointment lists. HPPSC’s index lists revised male and female final-result notices dated 9 December 2025.
- Male candidates: Open the latest male result notice from the HPPSC notices index. The index identifies a revised male notice dated 9 December 2025.
- Female candidates: The revised female final-result PDF is available directly. Its notice says it supersedes the earlier result notice dated 17 October 2025 and refers to High Court orders.
Because result notices can be revised, confirm that the notice you open is the newest one shown on the Commission’s index.
How to find your name or roll number in the notice
- Open the latest notice for your category from the HPPSC notices and press notes index.
- Check the notice date and confirm it is the revised final-result notice, rather than the August screening shortlist or an earlier result.
- Use the PDF viewer’s search function to look for your roll number or name. If search does not work, download the PDF and inspect the relevant list manually.
- Read the complete notice and any instructions attached to it. A name appearing in a result list establishes only the status described in that specific notice.
What the August 2025 shortlist announced

#1 Best Overall
| Category | Posts advertised | Candidates shortlisted on 2 August 2025 | Official shortlist |
|---|---|---|---|
| Male | 708 | 1,343 | Male provisional shortlist PDF |
| Female | 380 | 621 | Female provisional shortlist PDF |
The posts were advertised by HPPSC in October 2024 under advertisements 24/10-2024 (male) and 25/10-2024 (female), dated 4 October. The Commission described the shortlisted candidates as provisional selections for the next step, “Document Verification to ascertain their eligibility.” Being on one of these August lists was therefore not, by itself, confirmation of final selection.

The result record has more than one stage and more than one notice date: the screening shortlists came first, followed by final-result notices after document verification. HPPSC’s index lists revised notices for both categories on 9 December 2025. The female revised notice explicitly supersedes the earlier notice of 17 October 2025; the index is the place to check the current male notice and any subsequent correction.
The official recruitment notice is available from the Himachal Pradesh Police citizen portal.
