Payoneer’s India pages describe automatic transfers of received funds to a local Indian bank account or EEFC account. If funds are already in your Payoneer balance, available withdrawal options depend on your account and may include a manual withdrawal or a schedule. To diagnose a delay, first check whether the payment arrived in Payoneer and whether the bank transfer is marked as sent; for a sent transfer, use Payoneer’s proof of payment to trace it.
How Payoneer withdrawals to Indian banks work
Payoneer describes automatic withdrawal for certain India payment flows: funds received are transferred to a local Indian bank account or an EEFC account. Separately, its general withdrawal guidance describes adding a bank account, setting preferences, and withdrawing an eligible balance manually or on a schedule. Which options appear depends on account eligibility and the features available to you.
If you are trying to move a balance already held in Payoneer, check your account’s withdrawal options and follow the available prompts. Payoneer’s general process is to add a bank account, set withdrawal preferences, then request a withdrawal or use a supported schedule. Its developer documentation also notes that eligibility and bank setup precede a withdrawal request; it is technical documentation, not a consumer interface guide.
How long a Payoneer withdrawal to India can take
Payoneer’s published estimates vary by page and flow. Its India payment-request and account pages describe automatic withdrawal within 24 hours; its India pricing page says within 48 hours. The general withdrawal page says transfers typically arrive within two business days and gives a one-to-three-business-day range in its FAQ, depending on currency, bank, and region. These are Payoneer-published estimates, not a single guaranteed deadline for every Indian account or withdrawal.

Because the sources describe different flows and scopes, use your account’s status and transaction details rather than treating any one of these figures as a universal India processing promise.
What to check when a withdrawal is delayed
- Confirm the money reached Payoneer. Check your balance and account activity. If the incoming payment is missing or rejected, the issue may be payment eligibility rather than a bank withdrawal. Payoneer’s India account page says Indian payees may not receive payments from unapproved companies, PayPal, or other e-wallets.
- Check whether Payoneer sent the bank transfer. Review the withdrawal’s status and transaction details in your account. If it is not marked as sent, the funds may still be in Payoneer rather than in transit to your bank.
- For a sent transfer, use the proof of payment. Payoneer says proof of payment can be used to track a withdrawal. Keep the transaction details and share the proof with your bank if it asks you to trace an incoming payment.
- Verify the destination account details. Check the bank account information entered in Payoneer and confirm that the account can receive the transfer. Incorrect details can cause a decline or reversal.
- Check account-name and verification requirements. Payoneer’s terms say a withdrawal ordinarily must go to an account held by you, unless Payoneer has approved another account in writing. Payoneer may verify control of the account, so check for any request for additional information.
- Look for bank restrictions or compliance checks. Payoneer lists bank restrictions, mismatched account information, and compliance checks among possible reasons for a declined or reversed withdrawal. Review account notifications and contact Payoneer support if the status or proof of payment does not explain what happened.
Fees and exchange rates to check before confirming
Payoneer says the applicable fee and exchange rate are shown before you confirm a withdrawal. Its India pricing page currently lists a 1–4% fee of the transaction amount when a balance in one currency is withdrawn to an Indian bank in another currency; the exact fee varies by region and transaction volume, so this is not a guaranteed charge for an individual account. Payoneer’s terms also allow processing, landing, or intermediary fees in some cases. Review the figures shown for your account and transfer before confirming.
