Amazon keeps your purchases in Your Orders. From there, you can review what you bought, check delivery details, open an invoice or order summary when available, and look back at older spending. The steps differ slightly between a computer, the Amazon Shopping app, and a mobile browser.
View your Amazon order history on a computer
- Go to the Amazon marketplace where you placed the order—for example, Amazon.com—and sign in.
- Select Returns & Orders in the upper-right corner.
- Amazon opens the Your Orders page, which lists your purchases.
- Locate an order and select View order details to see the order record.
The details page can include the items purchased, order date, delivery address, payment information, shipping status, and pricing. If the order is still being delivered, select Track Package when that option appears.
Find orders in the Amazon Shopping app
- Open the Amazon Shopping app and sign in.
- Tap the person icon in the bottom navigation bar.
- Under Your Orders, tap See all, or select an order shown on the page.
- Tap the order you want to inspect.
The order screen provides the available tracking, support, and order-detail options. Amazon changes the app layout periodically, and the labels can vary by country, device, app version, or account type. Instructions that say to open a three-line menu and choose Orders may describe an older version of the app; the current Amazon guidance uses the bottom person icon.
Check your orders in a phone or tablet browser
If you are using Safari, Chrome, or another mobile browser instead of the app:

- Open the Amazon website for the marketplace where you made the purchase and sign in.
- Tap the person icon near the top-right of the page.
- Tap Track & Manage Your Orders.
This opens your order list. Select an order to view its details, delivery progress, or available support options.
How to find an older Amazon purchase
Amazon usually starts the order list with a recent period, such as Past 3 months. To look further back, use the order-period control on the Your Orders page. It may be labeled Filter orders, or it may display a date range or year.
- Open Your Orders using one of the methods above.
- Open the available date or year filter.
- Choose the year or date period containing the purchase.
- Review the results, then open the relevant order.
The exact filter options vary between the website, app, marketplace, and account. If you do not see the year you need, try the website rather than the app and confirm that you are using the correct Amazon marketplace.
What to do when an order is missing
An absent order does not necessarily mean that Amazon deleted it. Check these common causes:

| Wrong account | Sign out and try the Amazon account or email address used when the order was placed. |
| Wrong marketplace | Check the same site where you bought the item, such as Amazon.com rather than Amazon.co.uk. |
| Date or category filter | Clear the filter or select the correct year and order category. |
| Amazon Pay purchase | Look under Your Amazon Pay Activity. A payment made through Amazon Pay on another merchant’s website is not an Amazon.com order. |
| Unclear purchase details | Search your email for the Amazon order-confirmation message. The order number can help Customer Service locate the transaction. |
Amazon Pay transactions are separate from purchases placed directly on Amazon. For those transactions, use the Amazon Pay activity page rather than relying on Your Orders.

Find a receipt, invoice, or order summary
Open the order and select View order details. Depending on the seller, product, marketplace, and order type, the page may offer an invoice or a printable order summary.
For personal-finance recordkeeping, save the document if you need proof of purchase, a warranty record, or documentation for a return. The amount shown may include separate components such as item prices, shipping, tax, discounts, or refunds, so use the detailed order record rather than relying only on the total in an email notification.
Amazon Business accounts can show different invoice and reporting controls. Do not assume that a Business-account feature is available on a standard personal account.
Digital purchases may be in a separate history
Prime Video purchases and rentals are not necessarily listed with ordinary physical-product orders. To find them, open the Prime Video app or go to PrimeVideo.com, then select My Stuff → Purchases & Rentals.
Other digital products can also use separate Amazon libraries or account areas. If an item is missing from the physical-order list, consider whether it was a digital purchase, subscription, or payment made through another Amazon service.

Can you download an Amazon order-history spreadsheet?
For ordinary personal Amazon accounts, the older downloadable Order History Reports tool is no longer the standard option. Older instructions may tell you to use Account → Order History Reports or visit the old /gp/b2b/reports route. Those instructions are outdated for most personal accounts.
For a basic spending review, use Your Orders, select the relevant year or period, and record the purchases you need. Amazon Business accounts may have separate reporting tools and invoice features, but those should not be treated as the normal consumer process.

Using your order history for a spending review
Your order history can be useful for more than tracking deliveries. A year-by-year review can reveal recurring purchases, forgotten subscriptions or add-ons, impulse spending, and categories that are larger than expected.
- Choose one month, quarter, or year from the order filter.
- Record the date, category, and total for each relevant order.
- Separate essentials from discretionary purchases.
- Check whether refunds, cancellations, or partial shipments changed the final cost.
- Use the results to adjust a budget category rather than treating every Amazon purchase as one type of spending.
Because Amazon orders can contain several products and may include later refunds or separate shipments, inspect individual order details before entering a large purchase into your budget.

Where is my Amazon order history?
On a computer, sign in to the relevant Amazon marketplace and select Returns & Orders. In the Amazon Shopping app, tap the bottom person icon, then See all under Your Orders. In a mobile browser, tap the person icon and choose Track & Manage Your Orders.

How do I find an Amazon order from a previous year?
Open Your Orders and use the available date or year control, which may be labeled Filter orders or show a period such as Past 3 months. Select the year or date range containing the purchase. Filter labels vary by device and marketplace.

Why can’t I see an order in my Amazon history?
Confirm that you are signed in to the account used for the purchase and are viewing the same Amazon marketplace. Clear or change the order filter, and check your email for the original order confirmation. If the payment was made through Amazon Pay on another merchant’s website, check Your Amazon Pay Activity instead.
How do I get an Amazon receipt or invoice?
Open Your Orders, select the order, and choose View order details. An invoice or printable order summary may be available, depending on the seller, product, marketplace, and order type. Amazon Business accounts may show additional invoice controls.
The Bottom Line
For most personal accounts, the reliable route is Returns & Orders on a computer, person icon → Your Orders in the app, or person icon → Track & Manage Your Orders in a mobile browser. Use the date filter for older purchases, inspect View order details for invoices and final costs, and check Amazon Pay or Prime Video separately when the transaction is not a regular Amazon order.
