You can usually manage an Amazon product review from your account’s profile or review-activity area. Sign in to the account that posted it, open the review, then choose Edit review or Delete review. If you mean feedback about a third-party seller—not a product review—the process is different.
Amazon changes menu names and layouts by marketplace, device, and account, so the labels below may not be identical for everyone.

First, identify the type of feedback
These instructions are for a product review: the star rating, headline, written comments, photos, or video displayed on a product-detail page.
- Product review: Rates the item itself.
- Seller feedback: Rates a third-party seller or the buying transaction.
- Delivery or customer-service feedback: May use a separate Amazon form and is not necessarily public product content.
- Questions and answers: A separate product-page feature.
If your concern is the seller, shipping, packaging, refund, or transaction, changing a product review may not address it. See the seller-feedback section below.
How to view your Amazon reviews on a computer
- Sign in to the Amazon marketplace where you posted the review.
- Open Account & Lists.
- Choose Your Account, then open your profile. Depending on the interface, this may be labeled Your Profile.
- Look for Community activity, Your reviews, or a similarly named review-history section.
- Select the review you want to open.
Amazon’s review-management guidance identifies the customer review area as the place to access actions such as Edit review and Delete review. Menu wording can change; Amazon’s seller documentation also confirms that customers—not sellers—control changes to their own reviews. For many Amazon.com accounts, this shortcut opens the review area:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/cdp/member-reviewsIt may redirect, require a fresh login, or show only reviews that are still present in Amazon’s current system. A missing review does not necessarily mean you never submitted it.

Find the review through an order
If your profile is difficult to navigate:
- Open Returns & Orders or Your Orders.
- Find the relevant order.
- Open the product page.
- Scroll to the reviews and look for your headline, wording, star rating, photos, or profile name.
This route may fail if the listing or product variation changed, the review was removed, the product is now associated with a different listing, or you are viewing another marketplace or account.
How to edit an Amazon product review
- Open Your Profile, Your Reviews, or Community activity.
- Locate and open the review.
- Select Edit review.
- Change the available fields, such as the star rating, headline, written text, photos, or video.
- Check the revised review carefully, especially for personal information.
- Select Submit, Publish, Save, or the equivalent button.
The fields available can vary by marketplace, device, account, and review type. Do not assume that every interface offers separate controls for every photo or video.

Editing normally updates the existing review rather than creating a separate, independent review. Amazon may recheck revised content under its Community Guidelines and publishing controls, so the change may not appear immediately. There is no universal publication or moderation time that applies to every review.
How to delete an Amazon product review
- Open the review from your profile or review-activity area.
- Select Delete review.
- Confirm the deletion when Amazon asks.
- Check your review history or the product page again.
A deleted review may disappear from your visible history and the product page, but other copies—such as screenshots, emails, cached pages, or search snippets—can remain temporarily. Amazon may also retain account or moderation records; deleting the public review should not be treated as a promise that all internal data is erased.
If Amazon has already removed the review, you may not see a delete control. Amazon does not provide a generally verified promise that every deleted review can be restored, so save a private copy before deleting if you may need the wording later.

How to edit or delete a review in the Amazon app
- Open the Amazon Shopping app and sign in.
- Open the account or profile tab, or the main menu.
- Choose Your Account or Your Profile.
- Look for Your Reviews, Community activity, or similar wording.
- Open the review and choose Edit review or Delete review.
- Save the changes or confirm deletion.
There is no single permanent iPhone or Android tap sequence: Amazon’s app navigation varies by operating system, marketplace, app version, and account design. If the control is missing, open Amazon in a mobile or desktop browser and use the profile route or the review-history shortcut.

Work through these checks before posting a replacement review:
- Confirm that you are signed in to the exact account that submitted it.
- Check the correct Amazon country site and marketplace.
- Open the original order and product page.
- Look at related product variations or listings.
- Try the direct review-history page in a browser.
- Update the Amazon app, sign out, and sign back in.
- Try a private browser window and temporarily disable extensions or content blockers.
- If the review was submitted or changed recently, allow time for processing.
- Contact Amazon Customer Service or Community support if the review should exist but remains inaccessible.
Amazon’s publishing guidance lists several possible reasons for missing reviews, including customer deletion, policy violations, unrelated-product linkage, and review checks. It also indicates that checks can take several days in some circumstances. A missing review is therefore not automatically proof that Amazon removed it.
Other common explanations
- Another account: A household or business account may have been used to place the order or submit the review.
- Product variation changes: The review may appear on one related variation but not another.
- Marketplace differences: Review visibility and product identifiers can differ between Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com.au, and other country sites.
- Policy removal: Amazon may remove content that violates its rules, but support may not disclose the details or outcome of a moderation investigation.
Do not paste order numbers, addresses, phone numbers, or other private account details into a public forum while seeking help.
Can a seller edit or delete your Amazon review?
No. A seller cannot directly edit or delete a customer’s product review. Amazon’s seller documentation says sellers may report a review that appears to violate policy, but Amazon—not the seller—decides whether removal is appropriate.

A seller’s request to remove an unfavorable review is not itself evidence of a policy violation. Amazon warns sellers not to influence ratings or ask customers to remove negative reviews. If you have an ordinary complaint about product quality or service, you can update your own review or use the appropriate order-support channel.

Amazon-linked seller guidance describes a dedicated feedback area and separate removal rules. Exact controls and any applicable time limits can vary under current marketplace rules, so do not apply a commonly repeated seller-feedback deadline to product reviews.

When Amazon may remove a review
Amazon may investigate and remove content that violates its rules, such as spam, hate speech, compensated reviews, or a review attached to an unrelated product. A review being negative, inaccurate in a seller’s view, or unfavorable to a business does not by itself establish a violation.

Can I change the star rating on an Amazon review?
Usually, the review editor lets you change the rating, but available fields can vary by marketplace, device, account, and review type.
Can I edit photos or video in a review?
The editor may provide media controls, but Amazon does not guarantee identical photo and video options in every interface. Verify that the media is attached after saving.

You can generally open it from your review activity and choose Delete review. If Amazon already removed it, the control may not appear.
Does editing create a new review?
The normal edit workflow updates the existing review rather than creating a separate independent review.
Does this process work outside Amazon.com?
The general profile-based process is similar, but URLs, labels, review visibility, and marketplace rules can differ by country site.
