PayPal and Payoneer can work together for some business payments: an eligible client can pay a Payoneer payment request or payment link with PayPal, and the recipient receives the funds in Payoneer. That is different from transferring an existing PayPal balance directly into a separate Payoneer account. Availability depends on your account, region, and payment type, so check the options shown before you proceed. Payoneer’s guide to PayPal and Payoneer explains the distinction.
First, identify which payment you need to make
“How to send and receive PayPal payments via Payoneer” can mean several different things. The available route depends on whether a client is paying your business, you are sending money to someone, or you are trying to withdraw a PayPal balance.

Payoneer’s payment workflows let a client use PayPal as a payment method where available. They do not establish that every user can link Payoneer as a PayPal withdrawal destination or transfer a PayPal balance directly to Payoneer.
How to receive a business payment in Payoneer using PayPal
Use this route when a client owes your business and your Payoneer account offers a payment request or payment link. Payoneer describes these as business payment options, not a general-purpose way to move your personal PayPal balance.

- Sign in to Payoneer and check whether payment requests or payment links are available for your account and country.
- Create a request or configure a link with the amount and currency, then share it with your business client.
- Ask the client to choose PayPal only if it appears among the payment methods for that transaction. If it does not appear, use another method actually offered.
- Track the payment in Payoneer and check the credited amount, currency, status, timing, and any fees in your account.
Payoneer’s Payment Link page describes links for business payments, dashboard tracking, and receipt in USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, and JPY. It also describes one-time and reusable links subject to eligibility. The currencies and features shown on that page do not guarantee they will all be available to every account.
How to send money from PayPal
PayPal’s send flow is for paying another PayPal account; it is not a direct transfer of an existing PayPal balance to a separate Payoneer account. PayPal also says additional international delivery options may be available through Xoom, depending on location.

- In PayPal, select Send and identify the recipient by name, PayPal username, email address, or mobile number.
- Enter the amount and currency, then choose the payment type and funding method shown.
- Review the recipient, transaction details, applicable fees, and any currency conversion before confirming.
PayPal notes that international personal or purchase payments may incur cross-border fees. The available options and charges depend on the transaction and location; consult the details displayed for your payment. See PayPal’s international sending information and its US sending instructions.
How to withdraw a PayPal balance
Withdrawing a PayPal balance is separate from having a client pay a Payoneer request or link. PayPal’s US withdrawal guidance lists linked bank accounts and eligible debit cards as withdrawal options. It does not establish Payoneer as a universally supported destination. Available destinations, fees, limits, and processing times vary by method and account, so check the withdrawal options inside PayPal for your country before starting. PayPal’s US withdrawal help page applies to US guidance; do not assume the same options apply elsewhere.

Check fees, currency, eligibility, and timing before confirming

PayPal sending and withdrawal charges also vary, and currency conversion may affect the amount received.
