Choose the reporting route that matches the problem
Start with the operator for a market-specific, account, or content problem. Use a regulator or law-enforcement channel as an additional route when the allegation and your location make it appropriate.
Suspicious trading or a questionable resolution on Polymarket
Email [email protected], the address Polymarket gives for its Global Intelligence & Investigations Team. Include the market link, any relevant wallet address and transaction hash, and a plain description of what you observed. Polymarket says partial information is useful and reports are reviewed confidentially. The platform says reports are logged, triaged, and reviewed; it describes possible outcomes for substantiated cases, but does not guarantee a particular investigation, action, response time, or remedy.

A market rule, summary, or presentation problem on Kalshi
For an apparent bug or ambiguity in a market, use Kalshi’s private Market Bug Bounty Program form. Examples in its guidance include a title or summary that conflicts with the full rules, missing or confusing criteria, incorrect dates, broken rules links, or other details that conflict with contract language. Kalshi says reports sent by email or support chat are not accepted for this program.
Unauthorized Kalshi account activity
For suspected unauthorized access, trades, deposits, or withdrawals, contact Kalshi support through the in-app chat. Give the transaction details and approximate dates and times, and attach relevant evidence. Kalshi says it may temporarily restrict activity while it reviews a security concern.

Use the report option in the post or comment menu. If an abusive live-chat message has no report button, contact support with details and a screenshot if available.

For suspected fraud, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) says people can report to the government and to the exchange or social site involved; it names the CFTC or FBI as possible routes. In Great Britain, the Gambling Commission provides a confidential channel for intelligence about suspicious activity or criminality. It does not decide complaints about gambling-related transactions, so use the operator’s complaints procedure for a transaction dispute.

Check the contract before alleging a settlement error
A market summary may not include the terms that determine settlement. Kalshi says its summary describes the measured value, timeline, and verification source, but does not contain the entire text of the full rules. If your concern is that a market resolved incorrectly, compare the full contract rules with the stated resolution source and the relevant facts before filing. Include the specific rule or criterion you believe was applied incorrectly.
Build a clear, evidence-based report
Organize the material so a reviewer can identify the market or account activity and understand the alleged conflict without having to infer what happened. Depending on the issue, include:

- The platform and any account contact details the official form requests.
- A direct URL to the market, contract, post, promotion, or account activity.
- The exact wording you believe is misleading, plus a screenshot and the time it was captured.
- The full market rules, relevant summary, and resolution source if the complaint concerns terms or settlement.
- A wallet address and transaction hash for on-chain activity, or transaction identifiers and approximate dates and times for account activity.
- A short chronology: what happened, when it happened, which rule or claim it appears to conflict with, and what evidence supports your concern.
- The action you are asking the recipient to consider, such as reviewing the activity, correcting a presentation error, or explaining a decision.
Keep original files. If you annotate a screenshot, retain an unaltered copy so the surrounding context remains available. Do not publish personal or account information unnecessarily.
Escalate with the limits of each authority in mind
United States: fraud and market conduct
The CFTC’s consumer guidance identifies warning signs of possible fraud such as promises of large profits with little risk, claims of exclusive knowledge, and refusal to process withdrawals. It says suspected illegal platform activity or fraud can be submitted to the CFTC. Its February 25, 2026 advisory also describes a specific enforcement case involving misuse of nonpublic information: a trader with direct or indirect influence over a contract’s outcome received a five-year suspension from direct or indirect exchange access and a total financial penalty of $2,246.36, consisting of $246.36 in disgorgement and a $2,000 penalty. That is an example from one case, not a standard penalty or a prediction of what will happen to another report.

Regulatory authority depends on the operator, product, location, and allegation. Kalshi describes itself as a CFTC-regulated Designated Contract Market, but that does not establish that every prediction-market platform or contract falls under the same authority. Federal and state regulatory boundaries are contested. Confirm the relevant regulator’s remit for your situation; do not conclude that an activity is illegal solely because it resembles gambling or because a platform describes it as trading.
Great Britain: intelligence reports versus transaction complaints
The Gambling Commission’s confidential reporting route is for information about suspected suspicious activity or criminality. For a dispute about a gambling-related transaction, first use the operator’s complaints process: the Commission says it does not resolve or make decisions on those complaints. The distinction matters—a regulator may receive information relevant to oversight without deciding an individual customer’s transaction or arranging compensation.
What to expect after submitting a report
A platform or authority may use a report for review or intelligence, but filing one does not itself guarantee a reply, a finding, a market correction, restored funds, or another remedy. The guidance covered here does not establish a general response deadline or a universal complaint process. Keep a copy of what you submitted and any confirmation, and use the recipient’s stated follow-up or complaints channel if one is provided.
