To order fresh groceries from Sam’s Club, shop on SamsClub.com or in the Sam’s Club app, select your club or delivery address, and choose items and a time slot that are available for that location and fulfillment method. At checkout, review the total and any displayed charges before placing the order. For pickup, wait for the ready notification, then check in at the club; collect fresh items on the selected day.
Choose pickup or delivery before you shop
Start by signing in and selecting the Sam’s Club location or delivery address you plan to use. That selection affects which items are available and which fulfillment options and time slots appear. A fresh item may be offered for pickup but not delivery, or may be unavailable through either method at your location.
Compare the available items, time windows, and checkout total. Sam’s Club currently advertises free curbside pickup with no order minimum or fees, as well as same-day delivery and an Express option. Those offers are subject to restrictions, and eligibility or charges can depend on your location, order, membership, and available slots. Treat the live cart and checkout as the final source for your order.
How to order fresh groceries for curbside pickup
- Sign in and select your club. If you recently bought a membership, Sam’s Club says it may take up to 24 hours for its systems to recognize your information for a first pickup order.
- Shop items marked for pickup. Add groceries that show a pickup option for the selected club. If “Pick up in Club” is missing, the item may not be eligible or available there.
- Choose an open pickup slot. In the cart, check that the correct club is assigned to the items, adjust quantities, and select an available day and time. A disabled slot cannot be chosen for order placement.
- Review and place the order. Pay online or in the app when prompted. Some age-restricted or legally regulated items may require payment in the club and photo ID.
- Wait for the ready notice and check in. When the order is ready, go to the selected club, park in a curbside pickup space, and check in through the app or the text process provided. Staff bring the order to your vehicle.
Sam’s Club says refrigerated and frozen pickup items are kept in temperature-appropriate cooler or freezer storage while they await collection. Fresh pickup items are available only on the selected pickup day. The stated general hold is up to 24 hours after the requested pickup time; after that, the order may be canceled, and Sam’s Club reserves the right to charge a restocking fee for a late or missed pickup.

How to order fresh groceries for delivery
- Shop items marked for delivery. The available grocery assortment depends on the delivery location.
- Select “Delivery from Club.” At checkout, enter or confirm the address where you want the order delivered.
- Choose a displayed time window. Select from the slots offered for that address. Same-day or Express service is not guaranteed; it depends on local availability.
- Check the full total before placing the order. Review any delivery or Express charges shown in the cart, then submit the order.
Delivery schedules and cutoffs can be local rather than national. For example, Sam’s Club’s Philadelphia grocery page describes windows from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and says same-day grocery orders there should be placed by 1 p.m.; those details should not be assumed to apply to other locations. Use the times and terms shown for your own address.
