To move crypto from Bitcoin.de, first add the destination address under your account’s Withdrawal area, identify whether it belongs to an exchange or a wallet you control, and complete any required address verification. Then open Disbursements, enter the address and amount, and authorize the transfer with your password and an SMS-mTAN or one-time password. Check the live fee and the receiving service’s asset and network instructions before confirming: Bitcoin transfers cannot be reversed.
Before you start, confirm the receiving details
Open the destination exchange’s deposit page or your wallet’s receive screen. Confirm the exact asset and supported network, and copy the deposit or receive address for that asset. A matching ticker alone does not establish that both services support the same network.

Check the receiving provider’s current instructions for any memo or tag, minimum deposit, and confirmation requirements. These details depend on the destination; the Bitcoin.de instructions do not establish requirements for a particular exchange or wallet. Do not send until you have verified them.

- In your Bitcoin.de account, open the Withdrawal area and select the cryptocurrency you intend to send.
- Use the control to create a destination address, then add the address copied from the receiving service.
- When asked who receives or controls the funds, choose the category that matches the destination:
- Another Bitcoin.de user: use this only for an internal transfer to another user on Bitcoin.de.
- Cryptocurrency service provider (VASP): select this for an exchange or other service provider.
- Your own self-hosted wallet: select this when you control the wallet and its keys.
Bitcoin.de lists software and hardware wallets as examples of self-hosted destinations. These are examples in its instructions, not requirements or endorsements.

Verify a self-hosted wallet address if required
For a self-hosted destination, Bitcoin.de instructs users to verify the address using its Satoshi test or signature procedure. Follow the current on-screen steps for the wallet you are using. If the wallet generates fresh addresses, Bitcoin.de notes that you may need coin control to select an address for the Satoshi test.
If your wallet does not fit either verification method, Bitcoin.de’s instructions say to contact support rather than guess or bypass the check. The process for an exchange destination is different: choose the VASP category and follow the exchange’s deposit instructions.

Enter the transfer on Disbursements and authorize it
- Open the Disbursements page.
- Enter the receiving address and the amount you want to send. A comment is optional.
- Review the asset, network instructions, address, and amount against the receiving service’s details.
- Confirm with your account password and either an SMS-mTAN or a one-time password, as requested by Bitcoin.de.
Bitcoin.de’s FAQ warns: “Transfers of cryptocurrencies can not be reversed!” Treat the final confirmation as irreversible; if any detail is uncertain, stop and verify it before authorizing.

Bitcoin.de says its BTC withdrawal fee is based on current Bitcoin network fees and is adjusted regularly. It also says an optional fee increase may improve the chance of inclusion in an upcoming block. The amount displayed in your live withdrawal flow is the relevant quote for that transaction.

Bitcoin.de’s official fee pages have shown different BTC amounts and update dates, so a figure found in a search result should not be treated as a fixed charge for every account or withdrawal. No stable arrival-time promise is established by the cited instructions; network conditions and the receiving service’s crediting rules both matter.

Use the receiving exchange or wallet’s current instructions to understand when a transfer will appear and how many network confirmations it requires. If it has not arrived, first confirm that the transaction was sent to the correct address and network, then consult the destination provider’s deposit guidance and Bitcoin.de support as appropriate. Do not assume a universal processing time.
