To share an existing Facebook Marketplace listing beyond Marketplace, open the listing’s options and look for “List in more places.” A reported workflow is to choose relevant buy-and-sell groups and post the listing there. Meta confirms that Facebook selling can take place on Marketplace, in buy-and-sell groups, or on a Page, but does not confirm that exact menu path for every account or app version.
How to list an existing Marketplace item in groups
The following sequence is reported by Alphr’s guide to listing in more places. Treat the labels as a guide rather than a guaranteed current interface: Facebook’s official overview describes selling destinations but does not verify these controls.
- Open Facebook and go to Marketplace, then open your item listing.
- Open the listing’s three-dot options menu.
- If available, select “List in more places.”
- Choose a relevant buy-and-sell group and post the listing there. Repeat the group-selection step for other suitable groups if the option is available.
If you do not see that wording, the control may have moved, changed, or may not be available for your account or listing. The sources do not establish a universal current click path, device-specific behavior, or eligibility rules.
Choose groups that fit the item
Prioritize groups whose members are likely to want the item and whose community or local focus makes the listing relevant. Posting in a smaller number of well-matched groups is more useful than selecting groups simply to maximize the count. Check each group’s rules before posting; group requirements can affect whether a listing is appropriate.

Other ways to sell on Facebook
Meta’s Ways to sell on Facebook says people can sell through Marketplace, buy-and-sell groups, or a Page. These are distinct destinations: sharing a listing to a group is one way to extend its presence beyond Marketplace, while a Page is another place to sell. Meta also notes that shipping may be available depending on location; shipping availability is separate from whether you can share a listing to other destinations.
