Amazon’s Today’s Deals page features offers across categories. Browse by category or use the available filters, including the filter for Prime-exclusive offers. Deals and eligibility can vary by marketplace, so check the listing on the Amazon site or app you plan to use.

Amazon also promotes discounts during shopping events. Those event offers are not proof that an item remains discounted afterward: its October 7, 2026 Big Deal Days roundup said, “All deals and availability are subject to change.” Treat any event roundup as a starting point, not confirmation of a live price.
How to tell whether an Amazon deal is a good price
A discount badge or percentage alone does not establish value. Amazon says a deal’s reference price may be based on List Price or Typical Price; Typical Price reflects what customers have recently paid on Amazon. Compare the price with the item’s available history, rather than relying only on the crossed-out price or advertised discount.

Amazon’s price-history guidance says shoppers may be able to view 30-, 90- and 365-day price ranges. The feature’s availability and rollout vary by market, so those views may not appear for every shopper or listing. Amazon says more than 50 million customers have used the price-history tool; that is an Amazon-reported figure. Amazon also reported that more than 80% of deals during its most recent Prime Day were at its lowest price of the year so far, and that hundreds of thousands were discounted by 40% or more. Those are vendor-reported event figures, not evidence that an ordinary daily offer is unusually good.
- Open the exact listing. Confirm the model, size, color, capacity or other variant you intend to buy. Similar-looking variants can have different prices.
- Check price history. Compare today’s price with the available 30-, 90- or 365-day view. A brief discount from a high reference price may still be more expensive than the item’s usual price.
- Check who is selling it. Confirm the seller and listing, especially if the same product appears from multiple sellers.
- Review the checkout total. Check shipping, taxes and any other charges shown before placing the order; compare the delivered cost, not just the displayed item price.
- Read the eligibility and availability details. Confirm whether Prime membership or another condition applies, whether the item is in stock, and whether the offer has an end time.
How to track an Amazon price drop
Amazon’s shopping guidance describes Lists as a way to keep track of wanted items and receive notifications in the shopping app when a price drops or a deal or coupon becomes available.

- Add the item you want to a List in the Amazon shopping app.
- Enable the relevant notifications in the app so you can be alerted to price drops, deals or coupons.
- When an alert arrives, reopen the listing and check the exact variant, seller, eligibility and current checkout price before purchasing.
A notification is a prompt to check the offer, not a guarantee that it is still available at the same price when you open the listing.

Lightning Deals are time-limited and quantity-limited. Amazon’s guidance says they can last “for as little as a few hours”; an offer may also end sooner if its stock sells out. Check the remaining time and availability on the live listing, and do not assume an offer will still be there if you return later.

- Does the available price history support the claim that it is a good price?
- Is the seller and listing the one you intended to buy from?
