Nike does not publish a restock timetable, so check back periodically rather than relying on a predicted date. For upcoming releases, use SNKRS; consider resale only after checking the exact pair, full cost and buyer terms.
Start with Nike’s site or app
Search the exact sneaker by model or style, colorway and size on Nike.com or in the Nike App. Confirm that the listing matches the pair you want; similar names can refer to different colors or versions. If you are open to alternatives, search nearby colorways or a current model separately rather than treating them as the same product.
Ask Nike to check nearby stores
If your size is unavailable online, contact Nike Experts through Nike’s Help options. Give them the style, size and color, and ask whether they can locate it at a nearby store. Nike says, “Let us know the style, size, and color you’re looking for, and we’ll do our best to help you track it down at a store near you.” Availability can change, so confirm directly with Nike before making a trip.
Check back without counting on a restock date
If Nike has no stock, occasional checks are reasonable, but there is no reliable date to put on your calendar. Nike’s Help page, “When Will My Size Be Available Again?”, states: “We don’t have a set schedule to restock items—we refill our inventory as soon as stock is available, so check back frequently for updates.” A restock is possible, not promised; avoid treating any predicted date as confirmed.

Use SNKRS for upcoming launches
For a sneaker that has not launched yet or is being released in limited quantities, check the SNKRS app. Nike says SNKRS shows upcoming launches and can send notifications. Turn on relevant notifications and make sure your account, size, payment and delivery details are ready before release time. Preparation helps you act promptly, but it does not guarantee access to a limited pair.
Know how the release works
- SNKRS Reserve: Nike describes this as a limited-window, made-to-order pre-order. Check the release details for the order window and terms.
- SNKRS Pass: This is a drawing for the chance to buy a pair reserved at a participating nearby retailer. Participation and the chance to purchase depend on the release; a Pass is not a guaranteed pair.
Read the specific launch information in SNKRS rather than assuming every release uses the same process.

Consider refurbished inventory as a lead, not a promise
Nike’s FY23 Impact Report described refurbished footwear sold through stores and said the program could include sold-out or limited items. That is historical program information, not confirmation that a particular sneaker, size or store has stock now. Treat refurbished inventory as a possible avenue to investigate, and verify the current product and condition with the store.

If direct retail options do not work, resale listings may be another place to look. Check each listing for the exact style and color, your size, condition, seller or listing details, shipping, and the total payable price, including applicable fees. Review the current return and buyer-protection terms for your region before purchasing.

StockX’s Buyer Promise describes that marketplace’s policy, but it does not establish that your desired pair is listed or that every possible issue is covered. Policies can change and may vary by market, so read the current terms alongside the live listing. Compare the resale total with Nike’s current listed price if the pair is available at retail; there is no meaningful price comparison without a specific model, location and live listing.
